The range I'll get on my VSR-10?

So I just recently bought a WELL VSR-10 Based Sniper and I'm looking to upgrade the entire sniper.
The parts I'll upgrade are

1- Springer Custom Works v9.2 Trigger
2- Action Army 90 degrees Piston
3- LayLax 190SP spring
4- Maple Leaf Deception 70 degree hop up
5- Action Army Hop Up Chamber
6- LayLax Spring Guide
7- Action Army Teflon Cylinder

What would be my maximum range or the max range with good accuracy?

I'd expect about 275-300 feet of effective range, and 350 feet of range where it takes a magazine to hit someone.

I would suggest a MASADA arm and an Action Army outer barrel and receiver, the WELL won't really be compatible with the cylinder you want, and other issues will probably be around like not being able to fit the chamber.

Also, use the heaviest BBs you can get, probably BLS .48g or .50g.

Does this mean I also will have to get a new receiver or is there a chance that the WELL receiver might work? Maybe sand the inside of the receiver down a bit?

The physics of bolt action sniper rifle pretty much limits your effective range to about 80 meters. Trying to hit anyone beyond that would require so many shots as siliconesword said that it won’t be worth it. At that point invest in a taggin round.
Last month I managed to buy every Laylax VSR spring in an attempt to find the “best” spring for my field (I wanted a ~2.8 joule rifle). I was unable to install the Laylax 190SP spring because my seer couldn’t engage it based on how strong it was. While my situation was slightly different because of the type of system I was using (MLC 338 with a quick change bolt), I could see other issues cropping up.

If the action army cylinder threads aren’t perfect…it could blow the cylinder head off
Additionally, racking a laylax 190SP spring could get tiresome over the long term
Finally, it would likely have you go well over 4 joules (for me based on the trends, I would have been over 5 Joules). I don’t know where you’re playing, but double check that’s ok, no field state side would ever let you use a 4 Joule rifle.

I have a well Mb03 with a AA Teflon cylinder. No real fitment issues (no sanding and such. The biggest mod to get it to work was drilling out the stock bolt handle to get it to fit. I did do this mod to smooth bolt pull and take out cylinder to receiver play https://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/...linder-guide-rings-easiest-cheap-diy-fix.html
It works great. The AA hop-up chamber fits decent too. I did add like 0.005" shim in there as well to take out the clearance and make the hopup chamber a tight fit in the barrel.

Maybe I just got lucky but I have not had any real problems with my Mb03 and action army parts. Now an "TM-spec" piston will not fit in the stock well cylinder which I sure you already know and why you want the AA cylinder (which is the reason I got mine).

Just curious to what you reason is for suggesting a AA outer barrel Silicon?

I suggested the AA outer barrel as a friend of mine got an MB-03 where the outer barrel was smaller than an AA chamber, and he had to buy a different outer barrel.

He's in bulgaria I think, so maybe it was from a really old batch or something.

Is that something I have to do or is it optional as i am not that good when it comes to drilling out stuff. Will the cylinder work without any additional modding?

Its easy, just widen the big hole until it fits your new cylinder.
Alternatively, you could spend $30-$45 on an AA bolt handle.....

For the cylinder, it'll be fine.
Just use some #400 or #600 grit sandpaper to knock down any burrs on the slot, and clean the whole thing.
That's just for longevity and feel though, doesn't really affect the performance in any way.

It is a must, the stock Well bolt handle hole is shy like 1/16" (just guessing on my memory could be more or less) and will not go on the AA cylinder. Wasn't too hard though with a good sharp bit, drill, vise, and some coolant (wd40 or the likes would suffice). You could buy a AA handle like Silicon said but they are kinda pricy.

Gotcha, was just curious.
Ohhh thanks! Will that be the only thing i got to do or do i have to mod anything else?
