Response to richardmid1's post that said this.
Forget the huge barrel spacers, just a bit of plumbing tape round the end of the inner barrel so it doesn't rattle around inside the barrel end cap.
Forget plumbing tape round the cylinder head threads, YOU DON'T LOOSE ANY AIR THERE!, just a better fitting piston O ring or double up like I did or do whatever you can to get a better piston seal, this is where most air pressure is lost.
BB's veering off? Your hop up isn't centered. If you don't have a left right adjustable hop up simply look down the barrel from the hop up end and see which way its leaning and simply file down one of the hop up arm prongs until the bucking protrudes evenly into the top of the barrel.
My stock Well MB03 hits 520fps and fires straight till out of sight with these simple cheap mods.[/QUOTE]
What you have put here richardmid1 is kind of ridiculous.
1) barrel spacers stop vibration along the length of the barrel and they do help. The well mb03 has stock metal barrel spacers which you can't take out so I don't know how you could know about barrel spacers. Maybe, you did not know this and therefore had a low opinion of barrel spacers. Your gun already has them.
2) I have a well mb03 and was forced to replace the cylinder because it had terrible air seal. I tried Teflon tape, double O-rings. Nothing worked.
3) The thing about the hopup unit kind of makes sense, but you must be using low weight bbs for it to work, the stock hopup unit suffers from chronic under hop.
4) The well mb03 does not hit 520fps stock. I have chronoed it. Many stores have chronoed it. It is 450fps maximum.
Basically, either you have a very special gun, or you bought it second hand and it was pre-upgraded, or you have false information, or you a putting false info on this forum. I am a well mb03 owner, I should know.
