I have been wondering about the pros and cons of macro line and micro line I guess they are called. Plazma what is the correct way to use them?

This is going to be a bit long winded so give me some time to write it. I'll add it to my external gas rig thread. (I need to rename that)

Long post short. Macro line, micro line, and Micro bore, are all different. Macro line is stronger more robust and has a large airflow then the micro, not super flexible.

Micro line is pretty soft and flexible. (IE the hose that connects to the mancraft bolt is micro line) Only rated for 70PSI, though has been known to take more. Not good for parts that moves a lot as it is easily damaged. (great for making fill valve orings and soft numbs.)

Microbore (like the picture) are slim versions of the thick hoses. I do not know too much about the offering that Ninja Paintball has released, but from what they claim it will handle 4500 psi. From the ones I have used, (not the ninja) in the past they have all been colossal waists of money.

Super fragile. The hoses blew out easily and would break easily. Flow rate was a joke and needed to be run on low pressure (less than 400 psi). Then again, for a bolt action may not be so bad. (flow rate)

You can protect the microbore by running it in a sewn on routing sleeve by sewing it to the sleeve of your shirt or ghillie top. This would prevent snagging and what not.

If you want to try the Ninja microbore, go for it, but just be warned that it has the possibility to go south rather quick.

If you buy a coiled remote, make sure you buy a remote cover for it. Helps with snagging and protects the hose from UV damage and sharp bits.

Totally off topic but if you have an HPA tank, there is no freakin reason it should not have a protective tank cover on it. just sayin.

If I understand this correctly, you want to have the air tank in your back but the regulator in the stock? Why not just have the tank and regulator on your back? Makes it easier

I was trying to figure out what to use to route the air through my hybrid system. I was considering using some sort of metal tubing that I can solder together but the macro line may be a better option. What do you think plaz? Metal tube or macro line? I'll have a run between the reg in the stock up to just in front of the trigger. Then a small run up from in front of the trigger to the hop up. Maybe use the macro line for in the stock and use the metal tubing for the hop up. Though if things keep going like they are I may make the valve and hop up as one unit so that may be a moot point.

Hey guys

So this guide helped me make this masterpiece my Gas first rifle upgraded and converted to co2 also did my first ever paint job to it. I was going to ask i have seen diffrent bolt handles people use are these custom made or are they diffrent models is it possible to aquire them anywhere and the same with the i guess it would be called a recoil pad i have seen extendable ones with metal are these available in the UK? Also like to thank BOBCat with the awesome Guide. I Got a PSG-1 madbull 6.03 650mm barrel and a Nineball Hop rubber for the hop and stuck with the stock nub also used the tanaka Suppressor adapter and used tape for Barrel spacers as suggested in the guide cheers.

I was also given some german ww2 gear and asked to wear it recently and thought it would be a laugh for you guys here have a look it also has my KJW M700 in it not gunna lie i felt like batman in the german kit it was more of a piece of kit to wear for a laugh. Cheers Guys

Just one more question though. The only extended mags that i can find in stock in the UK that would be complatible with the KJ M700 is the Action Army 28rnd M700 Mag. Has anybody got any experience with these? im assuming they would be similar to the AAC-21 mags, im kind of hoping that i would just be able to screw off the bottom of the gas chamber to install the cqb russian valve?

Can anybody confirm or deny this for me please? I am hoping to avoid drilling and tapping as best i can due to not having the confidence or equipment to do it. Thank you

The 28rd Action Army mag is the same in the AAC-21. It's a clone of the Tanaka Long Mag for the M700. The only differences between the two are the plastic body and the price. I actually use the Action army mag and have no complaints. I have no experience with the CQB Russian Valve because I tapped mine, and it looks like there are specific valves for different brands and the reviews are iffy so I'de stay away from it. If you don't feel comfortable tapping your magazine just get this:

Cqb Russians are actually not very safe, as they snap a lot.

I second the Palmers Pursuit (aka CO2Reg.com) chamber adapter. It works perfectly and withstands the pressure.

I know this not related to upgrading, but would any of you know why my m700 would be losing all its gas after the first shot? The magazine was leaking, but I fixed it by oiling its various o rings, so I don't think a leaky mag is the problem. Another reason I don't think it is the mag leaking is that it doesn't start losing gas till I shoot it, then with the one shot it loses all its gas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and sorry for an off topic post.

You should be using grease instead of oil. Oil will run off and and eventually make its way to your barrel and bucking.

Check to make sure there is nothing pinching inside your magazine, most notably the strike plate and valve pin in the back. Also check the striker as well. If it has been used a lot its possible it may have mushroomed out a bit.

I second the striker plate, its possible it flattened out from wear and gets stuck with every shot

I checked out the striker it appears to be fine, also I only got the gun a few months ago, and haven't really been firing it a lot so it shouldn't be worn out yet. I think I screwed up something in the magazine while I was trying to fix the leak, and I think the part I screwed up is the valve near the front of the mag. Also thank you so much for responding, and for sharing your expertise.

If you have another magazine by any chance, you should check to see if both mags experience the same issue. If they do, then its a trigger problem, but if not, its a magazine problem. Isolating the issue is very key to solving anything with the M700.

So I was wondering how to test leaks in my gun. Ive read a couple of times to just submerge the whole thing in water and test for air bubbles. Is this true or am I just reading a bunch of BS? Also, what PSI do you guys recommend?
