Just looking a ordering a inner barrel, for my KJW m700, ideally I would like to match the overall lenght of my TM g-spec. I know that means cutting down the outer barrel but I can't handle that.
I'm thinking along the lines of getting a PDI vsr cut 470mm, 6.03 inner barrel. If anyone can offer advice on this or another suggest that would be great.
Thanks.
That's what I saw.. I don't think good when I first wake up for school.

Also, I've been thinking... The m14 and the m700 have awfully similar bodies. Would it not be simpler (assuming you are running a c02 rig), to put the internals of an m700 inside the body of the m14? I mean, the m14 has a buttpad that you can open, it has a hole in the grip (at least the cyma one does), and, as stated before, it even looks like the m700's body. So, instead of having to deal with a lanyard for the buttplate, you can simply flip open the butt, remove your c02 cartridge, put another in, and then close up the stock.

Seems as though Palmer's Pursuit Shop turned into CO2reg.com so all of the links don't work… D:

I've gotten a few PMs and texts about it so why not change it?

If they still don't work tomorrow just say something… Not sure how much I like co2reg.com's new anti-link quick view product pages :T

happy holidays people :D

Same great customer service if you call, however. My wife got me the HPA hook up for Christmas, gave them the lowdown about the website problems and they said they would look into it.

Bobcat, I've got a quick question - I see you're pushing the Palmers Pursuit regulator/stabiliser. I've heard that the Palmers is a very old and coarse regulator, and is commonly double-regulated. I'm trying to work out if I should get that, or if I should get a newer design (Redline Firebase/Ninja LPR, or even copy the old Cold Shot kits with the coarse regulator and the secondary SMC NAR1000-M5).

What are you thoughts? Stick with the older design, stick with the older design and add a secondary fine regulator, or move to a newer single-stage regulator?

I'm hoping to create an external CO2 rig (12g with refillable capsules, like I use in my Mini Uzi and P226) for my G96.

A miracle barrel in a sniper.. I don't think its ever been done before. It is almost wide bore which helps. I use a prommy 6.05. I'm not sure if it would improve groupings on a bolt action, but it would be a great test. I just can't throw $60 at ASGI right now.

I'm just trying to look for consistency. This is what I got so far:

KJW M700
nineball Purple bucking
G&G rubber set and spring
Palmers Pursuit female stabilizer and co2 adapter (about 700 shots through it)
right now I'm getting a 15 to 20 fps deviation. Average temp is around 88F

First things first:

I do prefer the Palmer's regulator. I've been able to achieve ± 2-3 PSI per shot, and that by itself is great. No need for a dual regulator. Palmer's Regulator is a superior regulator for CO2 since it is designed to handle the case of unwanted liquid CO2 in the chamber. It handles great, and just cause its old doesn't mean its worse...

And as for ovionepr

Have you tried testing the seal? Start there. How new is your regulator? It may need to be broken in. What does the PSI deviation look like?

I got around 800 shots on the palmers regulator
I tested yesterday and was shooting at 140 psi(.20g):
633
623
626
612
611
626
631
621
633
How do I check seal?
I was shooting at a target 4" by 4" and I was hitting it 9/10. Didn't test any further because of the wind. Temperature was around 85 degrees F.

Your regulator is still in the break-in phase. It will finish breaking in somewhere between 1000-3000 cycles. It could be more if you are quite unlucky.

My last rebuild on one of my regs took 6000 cycles for it to break-in (it was not a palmer).

By seal he means the air seal between your nozzle and bucking, and the seal between your bolt and magazine.
