Good to see some sears coming for the striker again..ever since the HPAirsoft debacle last year which effectively destroyed the market for striker parts... Dude was scamming people, taking people's orders but would never ship, well into 9 months... I digress.

I'm curious what's up with the teeth? I remember seeing another stamped steel sear from another company that I think went out of business because of the aforementioned BS, but it didn't have teeth if I remember correctly

Edit: Yes, as it turns out the company (GAP Pneumatics) went out of business, and I'd like to place my vote to blame HPAirsoft in contributing to that....
What happened to HPAirsoft? Last time i bought stuff from him it took a while but it did get to me
HPAirsof?

Had a feeling something was a miss with HPA, sent a few email, no respones. With what is happening in Canada, he should consider posting a warning on his site.

Most Canadian vendors have scaled back due to pending gun law. If passed, would make airsoft illegal. Players could be fined and/or arrested just for shooting airsoft devices in backyards. There are a few articles and YT videos discussing wordage used in new law. There are a few online vendors which have halted airsoft shipments to Canada until things settle down.

Well, those bottom side teeth just for decoration :) As well as such color. As for usage: I have made more than 2000+ shots and it is still ok.

BTW, I also have barrel spacers (take a look @ Ebay)

Back in early 2020, he had an "accident" that apparently left him unable to ship orders, reply to customers, or give anybody any communication whatsoever. I'd placed an order in April I believe for a steel sear set and the cylinder sleeve ring, and after 3 months I canceled the order. Because the website has one of the "reviews must be approved before being posted" type deals, there was no way for people to warn unsuspecting customers. This went on for about a year, from what I remember. The only way people knew that this was happening is because of the Striker Owners Group on Facebook, which everyone up until that point had been referring his shop as the go-to for Striker parts and accessories. Not anymore. We're talking 50-100 customers who would place orders ranging from $20 to someone who paid $900.

The owner (Justin Miller) was essentially "unable to ship or communicate" with customers, but would still accept people's orders and money through the automated website. If you posted on HPAirsoft Facebook Page, asking about your order status? Deleted and blocked. If you commented on one of the previous posts his page had made, asking about your order or a refund from 6 months ago? Deleted and blocked. Instagram? Deleted and blocked. He refused to post an update on his website, the company's social media pages, or anything anywhere that would notify customers of his situation.

He would post a comment on one of the Striker Owners Group posts once every 3 months or so, literally just saying "I'm working on it" and then go ghost again for months. I went through PayPal to get a refund after 3 months, and in the PayPal dispute I made a direct link and reference to the most recent post on his company's Facebook Page (before he was deleting everything left and right), and noted that there were two dozen customers saying that they had no contact from the seller and that they had not received the items they'd ordered, months afterwards. Mind you, that post was almost 6 months old, and the comments on it were dating back weeks. The day after I sent that PayPal dispute in, he deleted that post and every comment on every other post, like I mentioned before.

The dude is shady as all hell. There's a little-known scam in the business world. Build up a reputation with customers and selling products, then... disappear. They'll keep ordering, and everyone will continue to vouche for you for months, "oh it's just covid, expect shipping delays", "oh he broke his ankle 9 months ago, he still needs time, I'm sure he'll come around eventually". It's called an Exit Scam.

As far as I'm aware, there was a post to the Strikers Owner group 2 months ago (February 2021), asking if HPAirsoft is operating again, however everyone in the comments is basically saying that the guy's reputation is tarnished beyond repair and nobody wants to waste their money testing to see if he's back or not. Frankly, I people take him to court if someone hasn't already.

Welp that sucks, glad that I only bought from him once and that time does work.
Can confirm what shaggy said, luckily the orders my team made were right before the eternal void that consumed him, but... yeah.

Also apparently he did "custom PVC patches" that... used the exact same product images (7th image) as Who Shot First... who made the patches in 2016. When I asked him about it he claimed he'd "never heard of WSF", and just said "Buddy has done thousands at this point I'm sure" which... didn't really explain anything or impart any confidence. Also didnt adress that he and they had the exact same image on their site so... shrugs I guess?

In the US, Airsoft Atlanta, Evike, and Amped airsoft carry some striker parts, and Bespoke across the pond, so stuff is at least... available. HPAirsoft was convenient, but... all good things must come to an end I suppose.
Evike, Airsoft Atlanta, and my friend OneShotAirsoft are great places to go, especially OneShotAirsoft as he is trying to get all of those parts that you buy from multiple places all in one place.
Basically making Skirmshop obsolete as $35 shipping for a bucking or TDC is a bit insane

Laughs in Skirmshop.co.uk and cheap postage.
In all seriousness, Skirmshop really should consider creating a US branch.

For those in the UK good stores for upgrades include Skirmshop and Bullseyecountysport. Patrolbase is also a really great general airsoft store.

Avoid Justbbguns and bbguns4less at all costs.
They don't have the US as an option at checkout, so they aren't an option for me.
Even then, I tried getting a TDC from Hardon Design's site and was stuck with $25 shipping on a $15 product, and customs wanted like $30 more, so I pussied out and just got a refund.

Shit sucks lol, definitely nice that 1Shot is trying to eliminate that
