Not sure if this happens to everyone, but the feeding mechanism for my TM L96 cracked, rendering the rifle useless. Anyone have ANY clue where I could find a replacement? Or anything at all would be helpful. Thanks guys!
You can obviously google it and hopefully find what you are looking for. For parts, personally I like to go to http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/ I'm not sure if they have what you are looking for, but I'd recommend looking there and also check out the big airsoft sites like evike, airsoftgi, airsoftmegastore, and whatnot before you do a broad google search.
There have been many reports of this in the past. You're best shot is to borrow somebody's stock version and get a machinist to make a metal one so that it won't break again. To my knowledge, no company has made a metal version yet.
Every TM 96 AWS owner should buy one as an essential upgrade part prior to doing anything else to the rifle, as without it, you're screwed when the original breaks.........and it will.
This happened to me the other week and the part arrived in the UK from Hong Kong within 2 weeks.
I highly recommend this company. The new part fits really well and is very strong compared to the old plastic part. You will still require the plastic C-ring piece that hold the feeding fin in place, so don't throw anything away until the new part arrives.
