I swore that gun was out of production? I have been trying to find a decent condition PSG-1 for a while now, and eHobby just posted it up! Is it worth the risk to order a gun like that from over seas?

You can only find it as used otherwise.

If you do buy it be ready to throw some serious $$ in there. It's pretty squeaky gun so a metal body is at to priorities! And the GB is the only V4 around.

Yeah man, I've had one and Wolf is right. To get it even to perform well, you have to buy the Systema FTK kits, which are getting pretty rare. For the body, you'll need the reinforcement parts so that it isn't creaky and weak feeling. A guy at my field had one and threw about $1000 into it and it performed awesome (well over 100 yards with 0.40g's), but the electronic trigger mechanism broke so now he has a gun that can't be used anymore due to the parts not being made for it. The only way I'd get it is if I kept it stock; it was fun to have small games with, but wouldn't have range for any big games.

En lieu of my obsession for H&K products I will probably buy it just to hang it on the wall I guess. Maybe I'll look at it as a project one of these days.

If you can machine your own parts for it, then it would be great to drop in a P* Fusion Engine. I think somebody on here was going to do that a long time ago, but it never went through. It is a cool rifle though and it's a TM so it will last a long while. If you're the type that like to get pretty close to your target and not have an MED, then you could use it some.

I've been thinking about doing that (FE and PSG-1), but I discovered I like short rifles and the PSG-1 is just too long...

I have to say though, it would be one hell of a build.

I think I've seen somewhere a P* PSG-1, I'm more of a fan of the MSG90.
I have a Laylax MSG90 kit but I don't own a G3 that's required for the build.
