I got my VSR-10 like 4 days ago and have fired maybe 300+ shots through it and it's fairly powerful, but for some reason, it's shooting kind of erratically.

It does shoot straight enough for me to zero the scope into one point where they shoot most often, but it also shoots off to the left and right and up and down.

I have no idea what's causing this... I took it apart and cleaned off some of the random black sticky grease they put on and put it back together, but same problem but a little less pronounced. I also looked down the barrel but it seems smooth without any scratches on it...

Anyone know what could be causing erratic shooting? I'm not really pro with terminology so take it easy on me please...Thanks in advance.

It has stock parts in case anyone was wondering, completely unmodified.

I'm using .28 g BBs that I got from buyairsoft.ca.

Also, if it was my hop up arm, what would I do about it?

When I took apart the gun, the hop up chamber thing had a rubber tube over the end of the barrel and the hop up arm pushes against the rubber tube, but it seemed a bit uneven when it pushed against the tube.

That tube is your bucking. One thing that is causing me concern here is the thread's title, namely that MB03 at the end. Tokyo Marui does not(to my knowledge) include numbers like that in their products. However, retailers will often spoof the name of a product with a brand name, and then include the real retailer identifier at the end, and as far as I know, MB03 is the designation for one of WELL's VSR clones.

Mind posting a link to the item on the site you purchased this from?

Yeah the TM VSR is one brand and the Well MB03 is another. The MB03 is a clone of the TM VSR but not an exact clone. So some parts will work and others wont.

I would take a look at the hop up arms. If the "fangs" are a little bit uneven then that will be causing the erratic shots.

Are you still using your stock bucking? Because the bucking may be torn or messed up at the least.

Just looking at that site... if you paid $200 for a Well MB03 ... you got screwed man. I would call them up and look at getting a refund or something.

Same rifle for a $100 less. That and you can get a newer rifle than that or an L96 styled rifle for around $10 more.

Ugh, I feel completely ripped off, and the return policy is that I have to contact them within 48 hours...

also the "fangs" are the same length and look fine, it's just the bucking is poking up unevenly, and yes it's the stock bucking. It looks fine to me, but then again, this is the first gun I've owned with adjustable hop up so I really have no idea. Any ideas on where I could possibly get a new one?

Holy snot ripped off is an understatement.... They want $299 for a JG Dragon that you can get at Airsoftgi for $170.. and I find Airsoftgi to be on the high side.

On my Bar-10 I had a bucking that did the same thing the nub on it was thicker on one side than the other. I just swapped it out for a Nineball and all was well.

Does that make a difference though? I know they have some strict rules, but didn't know about the airsoft side of things. I know of a few guys that I have played with here in ND that come from Canada and bought from US sites.

But..... anyway....... I would try a new bucking at the least. If that doesn't work, look at the fangs again. If they are sharp or uneven try to smooth them out.

That is true. If you are unable to get them from the states then you may have gotten a good deal. But down here in the states you would have been shafted.

I am starting to feel this guys pain as well. We have had a ton of people in my area get in trouble with airsoft weapons. So they are looking at now banning them in my state :( That would mean I have a $1K + airsoft weapon that I wouldn't be able to use...

Yes that is true abotu the rifle.

What kind of TB you looking for? As long as you get a good inner barrel it will be fine. I am running a 6.03 AK length madbull in my L96 and I love it. Great barrel and doesn't add any extra weight. Just make sure you get the version 2 if you do get a madbull.
