So I put in a action army hop up chamber in with a barrel to match. Now I had a m150 action army spring that shot too hot for my field.
Field requirements-400fps for a 30g. bb 2.3joules.
So I trimmed off about 4 coils off now, and it has an insane down to the right curve. Is it too much power for the bbs? I have my hop up tuned so it's the least amount possible. Was shooting .36g bbs.

I suggest that you try turning on more hop up, and see where that goes.

Also, be more careful with trimming springs, take off like half a coil at a time as you can take off too much and ruin the spring.
Also make sure to flatten the tip of the spring again. You don't want poky bits inside your gun.
Also, if you add more hop, the bb should travel straighter.
Okay thank you. So I flattened the ends of the spring, added more hop, and she shoots pretty good know. Except my mag won't chamber a bb when I bring the bolt back. Looked up some other forums and they said it's a factory defect or something. That something is wrong with the tab to push the bb eject slide. Was thinking of putting tape or something to make it more snug.
