Hey all! I've been wanting to post something like this, just haven't gotten around to doing it. What kind of vehicle(s) do you guys have? This is just to see what kind of stuff you drive, and also to help me choose what I might get for getting A's and B's on my report card
I was told by my parents that if I make A's and B's on my report card and have $1,000 in my bank, (which, not to brag or anything, but I have over $3,400 saved from last birthday,) that they would help me buy my first vehicle.

I get around on my magic carpet. Its cheap and does not require any gas. I highly recommend one.

I have a 1988 Toyota 4Runner.
Nice vehicle you have there, Mav. I like the removable "top" so to say.

Thanks! It's awesome for the summer. Just roll the top up and the windows down and there is no need for A/C! She'll climb any hill I put her on as well.

Thats awesome! My dad is trying to lean me away from cars and more towards a truck because I can get our ATVs and dirtbikes to our 155 acres of land. I want something that isn't too heavy, and that gets good gas milage, while still having a little lift and fun in :)
That's a really nice vehicle you got there mav3r1ck! I like the older style Toyota's that are in nice shape.
Thanks Wesley! Mine is in great shape! The previous owner rebuilt almost everything. The motor only has about 50,000 miles on it, and the interior is completely redone.

I cannot say it gets the best gas mileage though. I have lower gears and bigger tires on it for off road, so at best I get 20 highway, but around town 16 in the summer if I use the A/C, and 18 the rest of the year.

Nice set up you have there, I was looking at a top like that for my 1980 Scout II terra back when I had the funds to work on it more. These days I'm sticking to my 99' Subaru forester, mainly for gas with the price of diesel and what not (yes the IH is a diesel). That and the Subi just won't die. (its almost 50k over when the mechanics said it would die and I should replace the transmission, wasn't worth the 5k on a car only worth about 3.5k).

I was wondering about your gears and all. Still not too bad on gas compared to a larger truck. The looks completely make up for it in my opinion.

I'm driving a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500. It's a single cab/long bed, 6 Cylinder. It does pretty decent on gas, but it has a massive tank (34 gallon).
The gears in the 4Runner are 4:88. I used to drive a '98 F-150 that only got about 13 MPG... So this is definitely an upgrade :) And looks cooler too!
I've got a 1997 Toyota 4Runner...I love the sliding back glass. Although, mav3r1ck, I do love the whole open top thing! I'll get some pics up after I wash her.
No need to wash! 4Runners are meant to be dirty!!!
