I signed it. If we can get Australia to make it legal it means that there is less chance of other countries outlawing it.

A couple of years (may be 3 years) ago I had an Australian come over and join our 5 man unit at the Nationals.

I will advertise this on the Airsoft New Zealand website too. That should get you a lot more votes.

If you are part of a club, ask the people who run your club to have a look as this thread. They should also include this info in the next bulk email that is sent to club members as well as put the link on Facebook.

Since there is no trace of airsoft in Australia currently, they have the rare opportunity to pick and choose the best regulations and policies from across the globe. Assuming that the government doesn't mess things up too much, Australia's airsofting scene could easily become a major social and economic asset.

And just imagine all the *pewpew* you could do in the outback! Tactical Kangaroo memes will abound.
