So im glad i found this forum, because im looking to invest in a good, powerful, accurate sniper rifle and i need everyones educated opinion. What is a good sniper to get? i dont want any gas, and no l96! i have a vendetta against them.
But would this be a good buy?

NO! Super X-9 is cheap and has somewhat good fps, but it's stupidly designed. The shell system looks fine, but is unpractical. It has the side magazine, but I have heard it brakes easily. Inner-parts were plastic and the inner barrel stays place only with friction. There are few replace parts, but it wont make the gun Any better.

How much research have you done?

Espically from that comment you need to go take a look around and do some of your own research. You still haven't read through the rules of the forum here yet. So that to me shows that you just want to get the answer and not do any of the work yourself.

While there are a lot of great guys on the forum... you should really learn to help yourself out first and then come to us for help. Because I know alot of guys on here wont bother to help you if you don't do any of your own.

i dont understand, i read the rules. If what i said had any offense to you or anyone im sorry. But from my knowledge, JG is known for having good fps or rof (on AEGs) and have a shotty design. And that seems to be how evilfish described the rifle i posted.
I did do some research and i know that all the VSR, and BAR 10 varients have got lots of parts and upgrades, and seems to be a good gun, but the SuperX-9 had the high fps and shell ejection so it caught my eye.

If you would have read the rules you would have seen where it said to make an intro post and all of that stuff.

If you would have read the reviews not only here on this site, but from others as well. You would have seen that the bar10 is just as effective as a VSR10. And that FPS isn't everything in airsoft

You would have seen just about every topic about the SuperX-9 is a complete and udder failure in everyones eyes.

There is still more research that should be done, it appears.

I wouldn't want to buy it by just reading the Features section,

Real Steel Scope!, as far as I've done my research on scopes for airsoft, I've never seen a plastic scope or anything that won't be useable by any army.

Looks to me like a "good" salesman talk, selling the crappiest thing, which put's the most cash in their pockets.

If I were you, I'd look for something else.
But if your desperate to get it, pay the salesman, you'll probably see him in a fancy restaurant eating lobster or something, while you run around dodging BB's with your Real Steel Scope!

alright alright i get it. Sheesh you guys are almost as bad as FA
And your right, i forgot to post an intro before my first post, but i fixed that problem and posted an intro before this one.
And your right i do need to do more research, But thats just because the slight bit of wisdom i have is in AEG's specifically M14s.
Also, about the whole "salesman talk" how should an unexperienced airsoft "sniper" like myself feel, when the "realistic, far shooting hard hitting" airsoft sniper with the salesman talk, looks more cosmetically pleasing to the eyes than the Bar-10?
And no, im another 10yo wanting to be a cool sniper, Im just an Airman looking for something durable that i can let my nephew use when im on leave.

So with all of your knowledge with the M14, and all of the different brands that you have, you should know about the "salesmen talk" would you not?

And being in the AF you should know that nothing of quality on a weapon is made of plastic. If it is it is usually made of a polymer or something of the like.

Took me 5 min. to find those three. They all say the same thing.... Great out of box... after 10 shots rifle fell apart.

well even though i got burned in the process, thanks for the info. I have had a change of heart and got my eyes on the (yes i know JG) Bar-10

Start there and look around here for some of the mods.

Anything that can be done to the VSR-10 can be done to the Bar-10.
