I will be upgrading my stock JG Bar-10 with the following parts:
- AA barrel
- AA hop-up
- Maple Leaf bucking & nub/tensioner
- AA cylinder
- AA m170 spring and guide
- AA trigger and piston
I have read a ton of threads and watched a ton of videos so I feel pretty good about my upgrade playbook --- Which brings me to my question(s):
What parts should be lubricated and what lubricant should be used? I ask because there is so many sources/data points that contradict each other. I've seen people just throw grease all over the internals like there is no tomorrow...while others use a q-tip for precise application. The choice of lubricant is also all over the place (pun intended) - I've noted multiple recommendations for and against Vaseline, WD-40, lithium grease, silicon oil, Super Lube, etc. Honestly, many of these choices violate my common sense meter but this my first tech job so I am very open-minded. Hopefully, you guys and gals can set straight on this one. Thanks in advance.
