So my friend who is still a little newbie to airsoft is looking at the sniper rifle mentioned above. I tried finding some reviews for it online but all I could find are reviews from 10 year old kids that I don't bother looking at. Can anyone shed some light on how the rifle works, quality, etc.? I know it comes with the 5 shells and also a 25 round stick mag.

He doesn't do official games, only backyard airsoft, so as long as the rifle is somewhat functional he isn't looking for Cheese Man standards. I can also do mods to it obviously so it isn't going to be completely stock.

I'd just buy a BAR10.. He'd be much happier at the over all quality of the gun, and if somthing breaks, you have a plethora of replacement parts to choose from.

Yup, even if you are only going for backyardsofter standards, the super 9 is a total POS.
