I noticed a lot of upgraded spring guides use this rod. I haven't been using it for a long time and I cannot find it. Seeing how I can't find a replacement rod anywhere, is it even necessary?
The rod that goes through the middle??? If so you don't need it, it's only to tell you that the weapon is cocked and clones made the rod too short so it doesn't work
No you don't need it. What you are talking about is the cocking indicator. It goes through your spring guide and touches that back of the piston head. So when the piston is cocked it will push the rod back and show you that it is ready to be fired.
With out it in the rifle you will just need to know when the rifle is loaded.
