When you cock the bolt back, it should NOT spring back into place. That is what we call slam firing. Something us snipers have night mares about, and fear for our wallet's life.

Toast is right, the UTG is prone to having the spring guide stopper sneak out the bottom. If this is the problem, just add some tape to the bottom of the hole where the spring guide stopper sticks out.

Had the same problem, but no this does not affect it. Unless they are fully cracked and provide no housing for the screw to go in, it should not have an affect.
