On the second question, you would need a new barrel anyway, it only accepts AEG-cut barrels and buckings.

You just have mo make sure the sears are down when it slides in, with the stock trigger, I think you have to hold down the trigger as you slide it in...

You are talking about the spring guide stopper, I'm fairly certain.

You shouldn't have to remove it entirely from the trigger mech...

Also, the long metal rod going through the back of the cylinder may be out of alignment, or something. Take it out.
