Its for the UTG m234 series rifles. It is really only for the version one and two of the m234 series, meant to upgrade them to be on par with the generation three series. From what I have read, it will not fit your rifle, and even if it did, would not give you any better performance.

It offers a spring upgrade that will only damage your rifle. Think about it. The only durability upgrades in this package are a new spring guide and a piston. What about the trigger box? I have seen people put this kit in, and it simply just destroys the trigger box, leaving the user with the options of either buying a new trigger box (cost around $100 to $200) or to ditch the gun and buy a new rifle.
If you are set on upgrading your fps, then you need to buy some durability upgrades. Parts from laylax, pdi, or OK will be well worth the money. I always tell people this: Do not upgrade the spring until you upgrade for durability. Here is a list:
1. cylinder head
2. spring guide
3. piston
4. trigger unit or new sears
Buy those and then upgrade the spring. I recommend a PDI spring or a laylax one. The spring in the kit you have listed will wear down, and it will do so quickly (results in lower fps output). Its not made to as high of a standard. Think about it. A laylax piston costs around $45 and this kit you have listed comes in a package for $35. You get what you pay for, and replacing crappy plastic parts with a few pieces of pot metal along with a spring way too powerful for the rifle is just going to cause you problems.

Edit: And if you find yourself not able to afford all the durability upgrades at one time you need to have patience. Slowly work your way up, purchasing piece by piece. Once you get those upgrades in the rifle, then you can upgrade the spring. But do not jump the gun. If you do, you will be stuck with a rifle that is broken, and you will have to buy numerous parts at once just to get your rifle back up and running.

I agree with fuzzywolly on this one(for once LOLz). The Utg L96 upgrade kit isn't that bad. The Piston and spring guide are pretty decent parts. I have the kit installed in my Well MB05 and although it offers a good fps boost and better consistency the spring will most likely blow-out your trigger box. I haven't had my trigger box blow-out yet, but my rifle is a freak of nature and it's probably a rare case that it has held up this far. However there are some reinforcements that you can do to make the plastic trigger box sturdier by replacing the sears and possibly filling key areas with epoxy, I will be trying to do this to see how well it works and I'll let everyone know if it is successful or an utter failure.
But I wouldn't really recommend this kit to others. It is a little bit of a waste because your going to have to buy parts to reinforce the internals and if your going to do that why would you skimp out and buy a cheap power upgrade kit? It doesn't make much sense.
Edit: Also, I just checked with my Laylax PSS2 spring and found out that it does not fit the upgrade kit at all. I don't know if other types of springs fit, but I'm guessing they don't.

Yeah my stock trigger assembly already broke so I bought the pss96 zero trigger and I love it. The worst part is when my trigger assembly broke my gun was all stock. Which it still is except the new trigger assembly.

However, it is a great durability upgrade, and is something you most likely will never have to worry about again. Itleast now, you can save up for the performance upgrades, and have yourself a solid rifle.

There is a section in the first post about upgrades for the l96. Some of which are performance upgrades such as the hop up unit, barrel, etc.

Will it bring down my fps?
Yes and no. It will not lower the actual muzzle velocity or energy of the BB. However, because the barrel won't come to the tip of the gun anymore, the BB has had some flight time before passing through the chrono, so the velocity will appear slightly lower. Some fields around here even require you to remove the suppressor for this exact reason.
As for you other question, you may or may not need a longer inner barrel. Where the problem comes is when you have your hop up properly adjusted, it creates backspin on the BB. Too much backspin will cause the BB to fly up within the suppressor and shatter inside from hitting the suppressor.
