So I am going to get a Scar from VFC and I can't decide whether I should get a Scar H and add a barrel extension and fit a 455mm inner barrel or a Scar H-SSR since I'm looking for a gun as my DMR build. I'm also thinking of getting an AWS Raptor mosfet to replace the stock trigger system.

So which do you guys think will be better? Any recommendation for the mosfet?

What's the difference between the h and ssr and what version is the gearbox?

The H looks like the L except that the magazine is 7.62mm instead of 5.56mm and the flash hider is a little different. The SSR is the H with Longer upper receiver and longer inner barrel.

I like the AWS raptor mosfets. If you can find them in stock somewhere I suggest picking it up.

As for which gun. I would get whatever gun uses the 7.62 mag. It matches the role you'll be performing better.

tried making my SCAR-H into a DMR
performs well.... but still doesn't look as badass as the SSR

But I have the VFC Scar L, I don't think it would make a very good looking DMR considering the length of it, and IIRC the L and H have the same receiver dimensions (roughly)
