My TM VSR 10 G-Spec M40A3 Modelworks

Just want to share a bit about my new project. It's my second M40A3. But this time using Marui VSR and Modelworks stock (I used to have the vfc m40a3)

Honestly compare the vfc one i prefer modelworks stock due to its more solid in my opinion and it has this kind a nice weight into it. But talking about stock dimension, the modelworks just slightly tiny bit smaller and it has slightly different stock shape (on the rear side). I think it because to keep the stock strength (if you remember the fortress stock).

So if your looking for the best copy you might wanna consider the VFC's. But if you're looking for accuracy and good mechanism and for sure spare parts in a bolt action plus with the m40a3 look you might wanna go with the modelworks stock. Of course you will spend extra on the unit and the stock but it turns out quite worthed for the long run. And i might say it looked very nice overall.

Is the stock plug and play?
YES. It fit quite perfectly overall

But if you only use the vsr original trigger or VFC/ASG zero trigger. I have not try other brand, but as long it has the similar shape i think it works fine, if you plan using laylax zero trig you might wanna do some sanding inside the stock due to its different shape ( if i'am wrong please kindly correct me). They also provide you all the new screw for your stock due to its different sizes.

The magazine also fit perfectly. The only thing that you need put pressure a bit is the cylinder frame into the body. But its very minor.

The stock color personally i like this one compare to vfc's. It has this flat OD tone and more realistic color IMO.

The stock grip feels very nice for me as an asian compare to vfc's that has slightly bigger grip. Also thats only my opinion

Well anyway, thats what i could share.

yes, you can buy it from milspec solutions. Just found that out after I shipped one from overseas

Ugh it's so pricy yet so sexy! I really want one!

Aren't they a bit funny with VSR zero triggers though?

I don't know, I purchased mine for my KJW M700. However I did have to file away some of the material to fit the lower piece.
