Which rifles out there are completely VSR-10 upgradable? I'd preferably like to find one that is an M24/variant if possible but can't seem to find any that are completely upgradable with VSR-10 parts. Am I missing something or is the Bar-10 and the g-spec TM VSR-10 the only completely VSR-10 rifles out there?

If it is the latter can someone possibly recommend a M24/variant rifle to me that is completely upgradeable with mostly VSR-10 parts with a few other oddball upgrades? I'm just trying to figure out what my options are.

I also prefer the M24's sweet looks, but M24's I believe are either APS2-based (Javelin Gun Works, Snow Wolf) or have proprietary parts. So no, I highly doubt any M24's are VSR10 compatible. I'm pretty sure the BAR10 is the only 100% VSR10 clone out there, although the WELL MB02 is basically the same thing, just with a shorter barrel, and the AGM MP001 and the TSD SD700 come close. If you really want a VSR10 clone, then BAR10 hands down, I have one and it's 100% compatible. I have to say I sort of regret not getting an M24, since the M24 has a much higher cool factor IMO.

You could possibly get an M24 stock and just modify it to fit a VSR rifle.

O.O Wow you weren't kidding about expensive haha. Yeah, that would definitely be out of my price range as appealing as it sounds. I would put a budget of around $200 if I was having one made as such. I appreciate the offer though!

Also would this part work in the BAR-10?

Actually experience on this would be appreciated!
That piston wouldn't work in a BAR/VSR10. That part is clearly for L96/APS2 guns. That would probably work in a JGW/Snow Wolf M24 though :p

If you really wanted an M24, I would go for the JGW/Snow Wolf model, as it is compatible with APS2 parts:

All three are the exact same gun, Javelin apparently has better customer support.

APS2 parts are almost as common as VSR10 parts, you could still easily get upgrades for it. I actually regret not buying that bada$$ M24...

Well I've personally had too many issues for aps2 compatibility in certain rifles and therefore, I am done with aps2 models for a while. Thanks for the reply on that though because the part looks just like all the pistons you would buy for a vsr rifle but I wanted to be sure.

Well alright, no problem. Remember that all Laylax PSS96 parts are for APS2.

Tell that to the Laylax parts I tried to install into my rifle. None of them wanted to play nice at all. Made me quite sad I must admit.

It is going a tiny bit off topic as well but would anyone recommend AirsoftGI's cylinder and cylinder upgrade for the BAR-10? Also do they play nice with any other brands? For example would the AirsoftGI Masamune Cylinder play nice with Laylax cylinder internals?

This is the cylinder I speak of in case you don't know about it:

Just looks like a good way to save $30 on a tougher metal Teflon cylinder.
