I've had my JG VSR for a while now, and I really like it. Well, except for its magazines. I've had plenty off issues with double feeding, no feeding, and jamming. I've worked out most of the little issues, but the magazine is still pretty difficult to get out despite my filing.
Recently, I picked up a used L96 off a friend. Don't know the brand, but it's not bad. It's way too heavy for my liking, plus I find the classic rifle shape much more comfortable than the AW type body. But, it's magazine is pretty awesome. Tons of them are available on the internet, they feed one bb every time, they lock in with a nice click, and pop out when you hit the button. Plus, they're metal on the base. Kind of a pain to load, but once you get it down it's worth it.
So I was wondering if it would be possible to swap the hop ups and modify the magazine well on the vsr to take the nicer magazines. I haven't done anything to investigate this, but I figured I'd ask on here and see if it's been done.
Thanks, Zack.
