Someone else on this forum asked something like this. Definitely make sure he is using a high quality bb. It could be the bb's are too light and that could be causing the curve. I know when I used .28s in my rifle, the bbs curved off left after 100 feet or so. Depending on the power of your rifle, heavier bbs might be necessary.
