This is simply a copy from his post in the L96 thread, this is not my words or anything. Here is what he writes.

"Hi yall!

First of all greetings from Finland 2 yall! I'm a finnish 20 years old airsofter (sniper prefered ^^ ) who has decided to go global since 90% of my countrymen on our foorums like 2 ban me due 2 "shit talking", which they think of my rather ground takeing ideas...

Anyway! I just purchased a slightly used WELL L96AWP rifle with premade painting and surface finishing (pictures will be added when I retreave the "cannon" Though I've already got a pic of its stock ). 140 euros including the weapon (almost 200 shots fired so it has had a slight felt of use), paintwork, finishing, 2 magazines, bibod and strap. The former owner told me it fires on speed of 130-140MPS (meters per second) which is 425-460fps in "foreing" measures xD so it isn't as powerfull as they say in internet stores (promising as much as 500fps / 152mps).

I know it is fully functional with all Maruzen Type 98 parts, but if some1 could spare me with a list of parts needed when upgradeing 170mps/560fps spring in2 the weapon.

"Good looking" optics suggestiongs are very wellcome! I think I might end up useing a classic scope, but if some1 has a better suggestion please tell me. A very juicy custom would be a Tanaka L96 gas magaazine (long version) as a "dummy-mag" inserted there where the real magazine would be. The trick is how to make it be removeable?

Thanks in forward for your replyes yall! ^^ "

P.S. I've airsoft playing and weapon runing experience over 2 years and military service of 9 months as medic. I have now this WELL L96 AWP, 2x TM M14 rifles (120mps and 150mps), 170mps TM VSR-10 rifle and a silly TM Socom springer pistol as back up
(with Hop up).

I cleaned it up for you Wandall, for future reference you can just use the modify button to post new information but maintain an old thread, I'm not going to give you a warning for double posting, just a future reference.

Welcome to the boards mate, it's good to see another sniper out there, cheers.

Thanks spartan and Mosin and sorry I wasn't aware about thease modify and maintain possibilityes. They might be very obvious and yet I should know since I use several forums like this but I don't. Oh well... We learn something new every day huh? =D How about switching back to original subject? ^^ Which manufacturer would you guys recommend when buying those high power upgrades?

Depends on what upgrades your talking about really. If you are talking about a trigger unit then a Zero Trigger isn't a bad bet, if you're talking about a cylinder (Long silver tube) then a Teflon Coated one is a good deal to go. As far as internals, a PDI Spring will do you some good, as will a SP style spring.

Just ask what you're looking for, we can pretty much give you a rundown, but to answer your question. Because you went with a WELL 96, you've got a cheap trigger housing, as well as a cylinder and bolt handle, and well.. Just about everything. Here's what I would do.

Get a CA 300% drop in kit
Get a reinforced bolt handle
Get a Zero Trigger or a lightweight trigger
Get a PDI Hop up, or a PSS2 Aero Chamber (If you can find one)

That's about all I can suggest to get you shooting 550 FPS and have a solid enough rifle to sustain it.

Now, onto your optics, a simple 4x32 scope would do the job, just ensure that it's got mil dots, as these can help you with range estimation/shot placement. My advice is a Leapers Scope, if not, an M1 scope will be more than good. Just be sure to buy a killflash, or something to protect it as well as help keep enemies from seeing you.

A dummy mag conversion is something I would talk to Livonia or Oakey about, they know far more about it than I, but I'd imagine taking a strong adhesive and just getting it to stick in front of the trigger guard, that's the best I came up with in the whole 30 seconds I thought about it.

Higher power upgrades, go with First Factory / Laylax parts. Also, there is a spell checker if you're having difficulty with words. I must say though, your English is really good.

Aah, sorry I thought it is pretty understandable if I don't narrow my request about parts to anything specific, I would ne looking for the whole works.
I'll mention what I'm looking for from this moment on okay? ^^

Like I've told earlier I am 20 years old guy from Finland. Theres nothing special regarding the point in that (except an average finnish Joe is not able to speak nor write english at all ;) ), instead the point is how much I've studyed english. My family is 90% finnsih (blood from russia and sweden from here and there, but not much), yet my mother is very fond in english language and culture and I may thank her for my englsih capabilites. She read half of my bed time stories in english, we speak in english randomly at home
, she put me through half english kindergarden/play school, english based primary school program, done many trips to the UK with me etc.

So as conclusion I could say I've studyed english language for my whole life =D As well as my native language/tongue finnish, I am actually as good in english as in finnish.
So this is why I haven't used this spell checker, since I don't find myself having problems with words, they are typeing misstakes. I do use dictionary if I run up against a wall. BUT if you incist I'll use the checker. =)

Alright, well.. I can probably build you a list of parts that you'll be wanting, in all honesty... If you want a gun shooting that hot and that consistant, my advice is to sell your WELL L96 and go buy a Maruzen Type 96. The quality is much better and you'll have a much sturdier platform to work on.

We here in Finland have all 4 seasons... Yes, reality is what I want too, BUT I've learned NOT to trust in gas weapons. I've owned andused too many gas weapons that have fallen apart wether they where new or old, hard or softly played/used. Plus our local stupid rules state that springers are only ones allowed up to M170 (M as meters per second) and my filosophy is high power in snipers. Conclusion: I must use springers. And inevitabely they WILL WORK at every single season.

P.S. I apologise for possible higher spelling misstakes than my average since I am useing a shit***ty keyboard.

Don't worry too much about minor spelling mistakes. To be honest, your spelling is much better than most native English speakers on most forums...I only brought up the spell check because I'm fluent in Spanish, and I know how annoying it can be when you get caught up on a word every now and then.

Anyways, Mosin should be able to compile a reliable list of upgrades for you.

Alright, so you want 510 FPS, sinse that is your area's rules? Here are a list of upgrades and prices (Most prices will be from Redwolf, I'll include links as well)

First you'll need your rifle:
Maruzen APS Type 96: $369.99
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=22470

Next, we'll want to do some tweaking to the power first:
If you can afford it, a PDI Laser-Cut High Precision Cylinder Set Lv3 (With Vacuum Piston) for Maruzen Type 96 isn't a bad bet: $189.99
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=18453

Now that we have the cylinder and all basic parts of the inner working rifle covered, we need:
-Spring
-Trigger Unit
-Tightbore
-Hop Up

Right then, first things first, let's look for a spring:
A PDI 250% SPR Spring should put you right about 480-510 (I might be wrong, if so.. Let me know.. I really didn't look it up, I guestimated from what a PDI 240% (Non-SPR) would do (460 FPS): $18.00
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=18426

Now that we've got power and the parts to call it good, we'll need to get us a good solid trigger unit that can hold that spring back for as long as your heart desires, now.. Mostly all snipers in the world (Airsoft anyways) choose a Zero, which is what I'll reccomend for you: This will cost about $180ish, but pretty much never break, ever.
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=15286

Now that we've got the pieces to handle all of lifes greatest joys at us, let's start focusing on the accuracy:
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=18251
PDI Hop Up, it's probably your best bet, however. Sometimes these little suckers get finnicky, so spend 5-10 minutes pre-game shooting at a target and adjusting as nessicary.

Next we'll need to get a tightbore, DB Customs makes some pretty good ones:
http://www.deescustoms.com/

Now that we've got our accuracy, and we've got our power, the only thing left now is for consistancy. My advice is buy a packet of barrel spacers, but if anything is going to break on this gun after all that stuff, it'll be your bolt (Probably because you're recycling your bolt wrong, watch the Airsoft News Network's Sniper Episode to see how to properly do it, I think it's near the end). In which case, if you don't want to take the risk, get a Guarder Reinforced Bolt: $38.00
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=19706

Those upgrades and modifications should have you shooting roughly 510-530 FPS (It's not that inconsistant, but it's somewhere in there). Once you find your right FPS, you should not see anymore than a 1 or 2 FPS drop for pretty much.. You're entire shooting career.

Optics don't really matter, find something that has good light reflection and mil dots, and you're pretty much set. If you don't want a maruzen base for this, then that's fine, I only say Maruzen because that stock feels amazing and a lot more dense and sturdy than the clones.

Any questions, feel free to ask. The only thing you'll need to modify for your rifle to shoot lower after all that would be the spring. If you're on a budget, let me know and I can rebuild a setup. Bi Pods are also something you might want to invest in, if you haven't already.

Cheers, and feel free to Exault me if this helped you.

Wow, you gave such a big imformation burst that I don't have enough time to read it on this one sitting! xD Lovely, this is gonna help me a lot. Thanks for your efforts in this. ^^ Hmmm... Might that WELL stock fit in that maruzen rifle... ? HEY! HANG ON?? Is maruzen L96 a SPRINGER and still the magazine is in its REALISTIC PLACE??? o_O If thats true then I'll definitely switch into that weapon. (Propably switch anyway if it is that much better.
) I just wonder what I'll do with this WELL rifle then...

My advice is either three things with that WELL:
A) Sell it
B) Keep it for parts
C) Keep it for when a friend comes over

Also, the Maruzen does not have an actual spot where the mag goes, although a Tanaka does. However you said you have all 4 seasons, so that'd put your rifle out of service for the winter.

Yup, thats the point. (even though there is all kind of power and winter gases but they aren't cheap...) Hmmm i wonder if Tanakas Gas L96 stock fits Maruzens Spring L96? That "real" magazine hole in the front is way easier to build than that replika mag.
