Hello all,

Now I was going to be making a new load out involving a ghillie suit; however, I don't know how to wear the holster and belt with the ghillie on.

I will be getting this Ghillie:
http://www.ghilliesuitwarehouse.com/products/Custom-Jute-Ghillie-Poncho-Kit.html

The problem I encounter is that when I put the holster on it covers part of the ghillie on the left leg; and when I use the belt it covers the wasit section of the ghillie. How do I prevent this from happening? How do you guys wear your holsters and other things with your ghillie?

Thanks,
Shooter

From the looks of the ghillie you have in the link, I would be buying a pair of scissors as well.

As for the question at hand, why don't you just wear the belt and holster over the ghillie?

My suit consists off a jacket and pants. The belt and gear are covered by the jacket. I just put the holster on my leg right on the ghillie and just wear it like that. Mine is a crawlsuit by the way, makes movement and wearing gear much easier than with a full ghillie ;)

You could also use Shoe Goo to put some netting on areas of you gear (pouches, belt, suspenders, holster, etc) and attach just to the netting. That would probably be the easiest solution without switching to a poncho style ghillie.

I would also highly recommend putting some netting and jute onto your holster and belt. That way you can still be completely hidden even if someone gets close. The contrast of the colors in your ghillie to that of your belt is pretty easily seen if someone gets within 30 ft of you. Then again thats also saying that your playing style is to allow dangerous shots as in multiple people pass you at a close range. Personally I would cover the belt with the netting and/or tie some jute to the extra MOLLE straps on the belt or just onto the extra space on the belt if its not MOLLE. As for the holster, you can tie down netting with non wax dental floss. Its really strong and if you want to remove the netting at a later date you can just cut it off.

Hope that helps ^^.
