Steel sears are stronger, but they have an awful trigger pull and bolt pull, as they are meant to run low power, and at higher power the sear pushes the piston into the top of the cylinder causing issues. If you can't justify a $50 90° trigger, sniping may not be the thing for you. Since you have started with a base gun, you will inevitably spend $500 on it at some point, so it would actually be cheaper to get something like the SSG10 that has all the upgrade parts in it for the cost of a TM VSR-10
