Rocks due to tend to sneak their way into the butt stock. Have you recently gotten any sticky food or candy near your rifle? This tends to attract rocks of all kind, mostly small ones though.

To the OP, be more specific. Does this cause shooting problems in any way? Is it extremely loud? Or just a small rattle noise?
