was looking at these rifles evike, they have a good price however, apparently it is impossible to change the handguard in the future want to put a longer handguard and more rails (m4 / 16 style) such incompatibility bothers me:nuts:, anybody here have any one of these? they are replicas of some RealSteel rifle, or are only rifles designed by well?

Looks pretty cool as a base gun! The rails do not look like they can be interchanged as it looks like they are part of the upper receiver. According to evike they say that It accepts VSR-10 and L96 parts so you will be able to upgrade. If this is going to be your first BASR then I suggest the JG Bar-10. I do not know of exactly the "real steel" version of this, but I would have to guess that it's well's attempt at a MSR.

Why everyone says to buy a jg bar10?does this have any special thing?
Incredible quality for the price, TM-Spec thus 100% compatibility with VSR-10 parts.. did I mention the price? So yes, the BAR-10 DOES have some "special things" about it.

Although I don't know anything about the rifle the thread is about, so this is somewhat OT. My apologies.

Knowing WELL's history, it's probably "somewhat" VSR/APS2 compatible, but likely only "somewhat." They don't have a record for being on-spec, so don't expect 100% compatibility with either one. Although it may very well be fairly upgrade-able. Again, I'm not sure, and this is only speculation, but something to consider due to the lack of people who own/know this one.

Ive got the 4411. I love the look and feel of it. only issue I have it the feeding mechanism. If you arent careful, it can jam a bb and wedge it into the feeding ramp leaving you with no way to clear it without a rifle tear down. Ive only had this happen twice when trying to pop off a few quick shots and not getting the full bolt pull and piston lock. sometimes it feels like its locked and ready to fire but you need to pull it back a hair more.. also I had a one of the screws that hold the hop unit in place fall out... no clue how that happened since when it fell out, ive never disassembled the rifle

I have the mb4410 and as mentioned it jams quote a bit if you don't watch how you shoot it. When loading bbs into the chamber the bbs end up squeezed out into parts of the front stock. No idea how to fix this problem but think twice before getting one of these.

This gun will be a pain in the backside to upgrade as it will not be VSR compatible. WELL VSR compatibility is not TM VSR compatibility.

They're based on the TM L96 AWS, and take all the same parts. They only take a different cylinder, but they're fully upgradeable (there are cylinders available for this).

I considered getting one, but in the end opted for a simpler platform. They seem to be a major PITA to work on and the loading mechanism can cause it to jam, so I wouldn't bother with it. It's a cool looking rifle, that's for sure, but I wonder how practical it really is.

If you treat it WELL it'll work just fine, but there are simpler rifles out there that are more compatible with other parts and don't jam. And the ability to take a little abuse is definitely something to take into account when you're looking at any rifle :hehe:

Can you post a link to the upgraded loading plate? I'm panning on upgrading mine before my team starts in the spring.
check out airsoftsniperparts.com

i used his upgrade parts in my 4411 and the metal loading plate is definitely an improvement over the stock plastic one. when i have the time i want to try to fabricate a metal feeding ramp since ive noticed, even with the metal loading plate, BBs can be forced and jam in the slot on the ramp. the plastic WELL used has too much give.

the whole mech works great when gingerly target shooting but in an airsoft skirmished when you are trying to cycle the bolt quickly, it fails all to often.

Hey guys, not to necro-post(only a few months dead), but I picked one of these up in a boneyard package, only to find it didn't have a cylinder... Anyone know where I can get one? ASPUK said they're not available, US retailers all told me no...

You're lucky.

The MB4411 (and similar rifles, a few others of the mb44xx series) have a different cylinder than a normal L96AWS. They're slightly off spec because of the Remington 700 style bolt, rather than an AI AW style bolt. There weren't any aftermarket cylinders available for it because of that.

But... Just recently it seems airsoftpro seems to make one (kudos for airsoftpro, they make parts for a lot of off-spec rifles!). A few months ago you'd have a wall hanger, but now there's a cylinder available you can use.

You'll have to purchase them from overseas though... Here you go

The 4411 is the TM L96 with a VSR gearbox. I personally prefer the 4403.
That's not true, it's L96AWS spec, with just a different cylinder. A VSR cylinder is NOT the same. It _might_ fit with some tinkering, but the pin on the back of the cylinder seems to be a different length for example.

Hi!

Having in mind that feeding problem...I need to choose in a short time....the 4411D or a VSR10 and later upgrades?

At my first view, the 4411D make me fall in love, but many comments make me think about the VSR10.

Thanks!

The VSR (or well, I'd choose the JG BAR-10 instead) is a much better platform when it comes to practicality. It is more reliable, there are better parts available and it is a lot easier to work on. The only positive thing about the mb44xx series is the looks, but that is literally all. They will be harder to upgrade and maintain and they won't perform as well.

I'd go with a VSR platform, more specifically, the JG BAR-10
