So I was browsing the forum and I saw alot of people talking about Novritsch. Some people like him some people don't. Now I was wondering what do you guys find of him: Do you like him? Yes or no? No, why not?

Here is my opinion&experience: 6 months ago I purchased the Novritsch shooting kit (ikr why though) when it finally came. It came in a plastic bag, no joke. Inside the plastic bag were 2 pvc pipes with black covers to prefend stuff from falling out the pipe.

The bag was ripped apart, there were 2 holes in the bag. One pvc pipe was empty, the barrel had fallen out. So I contacted Novritsch and told him the story.

He literally sends me this:
I'm sorry for the issues. We will send you a new barrel the upcoming days.
I hope this song will cheer up your day anyways.

I think Novritsch is a really clever guy, but didn't like this very much lol

Well yea,
I think he is 100% a business man. Most of his videos now a days are either sponsored, or promoting his own gear. You've said you've browsed this forum and found loads of novritch related articles. Well here's the facts,
1. He rebrands all of his gear
2. His "Tuning Kit" is just edge parts put together
3. His novritch Guille is a Sprinter Custom Guille

My opinion:
1. 10/10 Business man with a target audience of people with little to no technical knowledge, or next to zero time to work on a sniper.
2. He's not a bad airsoft sniper
3. He now mostly promotes his own gear
4. His ssg04 is easily outperformed.

Here's the facts,
Elsa

I think if I was in the same circumstances I would be doing the same thing as Nov.
He would have started airsoft as a hobby and then realised that he could make a little money. Now he probably makes a lot of money. Good on him. I would have liked to do that. Living the dream :)
He seems like a pretty genuine, easy going guy who does not seem arrogant and he has a good sense of humour.
Good on him. I wish him well.

Novritsch is certainly a business man, well, corporate minded anyways. He's not entirely vested in the craft of the rifle, nor in airsoft as a community, but boy can he sell! I recently saw one YouTube comment where he was basically calling down any other rifle but his own. His prerogative for sure, but then you're no longer an ambassador of the sport for the good and advancement of all. Then again,he's never claimed to be a philanthropist..well, sort of.

You can play airsoft, and get out there and have fun, as long as you do it with Novritsch gear...a reasonable request, no? Not much different than any other commercial really. Yet, where I get off the bus is the 'grey area' marketing. The best rifle ever, but at the same time don't forget to check out my upgrade parts for the best rifle ever...how exactly does that work? hahahaha

There are also amazing claims of Jedi precision which when in conversation with people who have actually purchased the gun have proven false. In which case, they're actually a tad peeved about it. This is classic over promise and under deliver which has been a sales problem forever. He may make big bucks for a period, but eventually the sour will come out and down goes the house of cards...So, in essence, Novritsch is typical and quite average.

Hes a seller, thats it, i dont think either bad or good of him, even tho i do not trust him, i much prefer to place my trust on the guys in this forum than him, to me hes just a brand with legs.
A brand with legs meaning those legs are carrying him somewhere, or legs as in just like every other brand...ever?

What's wrong with looking at something good and making it a little better? Eg. It looks like a M24 stock, but it's just a little thicker than theirs. The trigger isn't the best, but it's not the worst. The barrel is brass, but it might have cut costs while still being better than other stock guns. Someone please provide his parts list and the evidence on the brands. Lots of empty claims.

When i say a brand with legs its a translated regionalism we use when describing the top defining feature someone has, either good or bad, in this case and following your quasi-poetic follow-up those legs might be carrying him somewhere, yes, like most of us with legs (or wheels), its just as the direction is not appealing to me because, as ive said, him being a "brand with legs" means his priority is to make money, after that comes everything else, and also, before you MIGHT retort at this, i dont think theres nothing wrong with that BUT when it comes to the matter of TRUSTING him SPECIALLY with technical knowledge/advice hes VERY VERY VERY low on my list and, as i put in my previous post, i MUCH preffer to trust people on this forum whom might have less of an agenda like him.

TLDR: I dont give a F about his quality as a person because i dont know him, but based on his comments i do not trust his technical knowledge or advice.

Since this my 100th post I'll say this... I like him more than 95% of the people on here! The other 5% are cool S#!T you know who you are.
Let's not forget that NOV was an airsoft player long before he was ever a brand. On the topic of brands, anyone that puts there name on a product obviously stands behind it. Does he rebrand products? Not at all! He openly admits that the products he sells aren't manufactured by him. He is merely a middle man. He finds cool products and brings them into the spot light. No different than any other business. Amazon does the same thing and when you get your package from them there will be a amazon sticker on the box so is that rebranding? His products come from BLS, Sprinter Ghillie, EDGI, and Modify. Again this is common knowledge. So what if he sells it under his company name which happens to be his name, and makes a few bucks. There all great products and I commend him for his hard work and promoting the hobby we love in a positive way.
Some of you need to ask yourselves what you have done to make are hobby better? Have you done anything to promote the hobby in a positive way? Have you done anything to encourage new players to come out and have fun?
Cause I'll tell you one thing, 1 million + subscribers on YouTube and counting! That's some amazing exposure for this great hobby!
Here a piece of advice... If your not having fun... your not doing it right!
And just for the record, I don't own any Novritsch products. Call me a fan boy, call me what you want, I'll just point you to the first sentence in my post.

I think theres a huge difference between hating/not liking him and just not giving a F about him, maaaaaybe you are confusing those 2? In my case not giving a F means just not caring for him, they day i share a game with him, sit down and talk maybe have a few beers i MIGHT give a shit about him, the other way i could care about him is if i saw his contributions to sniping were great, in that regard i care about Jacob, Plaz, 1Tonne and a few others in this forum, hell, even as a brand, i care a lot about EdGI (to mention one example of a salesman) because the first time i ordered products from him we had a huge problem with my local customs office (stupid people) and he was 150% with me along the way, always communicating, going out of his way to help me get my stuff and when we gave up (we had to fight my customs office for about a month) he sent me another full back of stuff i ordered completely free with me just paying shipment, in my book hes awesome and also he KNOWS WHAT HES DOING, so as a salesman and a tech hes waaay up there even if i dont agree 100% with everything he says.

Now, i keep replying in this silly topic and i think i should just forget about this nonissue, but its hard not to think you are getting either confused or just plain passionate about this, based on your comments, why are you assuming people are not having fun? or even that we have not contributed to airsoft?

Aaanyway, i have invested too much in this kind of topic, while its entertaining i dont think i will be replying more.

My comments weren't directed to anyone in particular, more to the community as a whole. If you feel your contributing to the hobby, keeping a positive attitude, and having fun while your doing it, then I commend you too! But if your the type that's a chairsofter, and all you do is echo stupid comments like rebranding, or start click bait threads, then maybe some people should step back and take a look at what it is that makes them so great... but your right Cuervo, this topic as amusing as it is seems to litter this forum way to often.. But when I see stupid uneducated comments and threads pop up I tend to call people out on it... cause I know Bull$#!T when I smell it lol I never said anyone had to like him.. but there's no reason not too. I actually find the guy very transparent. Why else would he do tours of the places that create the products he sells. Would be kinda counter productive if he was "rebranding".

I think a lot of you are missing what Nov is really doing. "Rebranding" keeps getting thrown around, I do not think most of you really know what that truly means vs. what is actually the case.

Nov has rebranded the edgi kits, put them side by side you would not know the difference. Not the case with the ghillie, bbs, and gun. While very similar to products available from said companies, you would not be able to get the exact product that Nov is selling. This is what is known as a "Private Label." Its a hilariously common practice. You guys are making a mountain out of a dirt clod I scraped from my boot.

As for the rest of it, I have said my 2 cents on that already, I do not feel like repeating myself again.

Actually I seen the Novritsch tunning kit with my own eyes as shipped and it clearly had EDGI labelling on it. There's also pictures and videos of the kit and the labelling can be seen clearly on the packaging. Wouldn't really call it a rebrand. But like Plazaburn said, you would be hard pressed to get the Novritsch private label products direct from said manufactures. Except for maybe EDGI...

Jeez, this guy talks a lot of (....). It's almost painful to watch. This is mostly just marketing, half of the great things he talks about are not even true and the other half of it is nothing impressive :bs:
