Hey, me and Octoberknight were talking and we thought it would be cool to have a section about stupid things people do at airsoft events/games with friends. I feel everyone has got a story about someone that just gets you angry (maybe does not call a hit no matter how obvious or just says stupid things when playing

)

Maybe there could be a thread in the general section about this, or maybe a whole section for it by itself. I don't know whats best for the forum.

Just a thought, let me know what you guys think.

) this should be, in essence, an online soapbox where people can blow off steam, about anyone even people on this forum(without naming names of course)and avoiding pissing anyone else off and without having negative effects (guardian003 is a perfect example of what should not happen to you

) Mods if applicable maybe a swear filter on just this one thread/sub-board however you want to do it if possible, as to not offend people to badly while still getting the message across.

You ever have those guys on the field that take advantage of the "dead player" act then turn around and hose you down? That really grinds my gears. Nearly lost my head about it once at my local field.

I think it's a bad idea to make negative personal statements about ANYONE on these boards, even if it's just in this one section. It's just plain rude, and people are going to end up hurting one another without ANY positive effects. No one needs to "blow off steam" (insult someone) to make themselves feel better.

This forum is about helping people, not bashing them.

Unless a mod approves it, don't name names and keep it to general "I hate it when this happens" statements. That should be more than enough for everyone and I think that was Fuzzy's original intent.

Thanks Zulu for making that comment and clearing things up. I feel this would be a good thread to talk about things in general that happen at a game with friends or at events. There is no need to hurt anyones feelings, in fact no names at all, even if no one else knows who it is.

I feel everyone here on this forum is one giant community here to learn and teach other people things. For example, Zulu helped me choose the path to upgrade my rifle. I have learned alot from him and now I am able to help other people out too.

Hope this whole thing can work out peacefully I by no means want to hurt anyones feelings at all.

Zulu what I mean by that is, this is just an example by the way fuzzy, it is not "Fuzzywolly is such a bleeping idiot for doing such and such". It is more like "I am really annoyed at how a certain someone handled that in the game, he could have done much better". The second not the first, when someone is saying something about a person directly that is unacceptable. If you are going to say something about someone it should be about their actions, any insults directed at someone or the like that should be deleted and have normal consequences. I hope you understand that. This is in no way supposed to be something to make others feel bad, it is supposed to be punching a pillow, virtually.

I understand what you mean octoberknight. However, I say like Zulu said, keep names out of it. That way, your "pillow" takes the blow and not the person you are talking about.
