If anyone was wondering, the well mb-08 uses its own silencer adapter, and it's hard to find, so if you plan on getting a long tightbore, reconsider, unless you can rig your own silencer set up.

Hello, im planning to buy the ASG AW .308 ive heard its the same as Well mb01 but I cant find more info on it. last thing I want is to stuck with a rifle that there is no parts for it. Already got the Swiss Arms M6 Black Eagle with sealed cylinder. Hope you guys can help me. Thanks

It's been awhile since anyone has been on this thread but I think there is some information that should be put in here. Many probably already know this, but TSD SD96 now comes with a full metal trigger box stock. Now as to the strength of it, I couldn't yet tell you because I haven't upgraded mind in the cylinder yet but I'm going to take it apart soon and I'll take a close look at it and see if that's much better than the plastic trigger boxes or if it's just pot metal. Either way it's probably better than plastic.

It is way better than plastic. I took it apart the other day and it feels like quality steel. I think it could even stand up to an m170 for a long time. I was pretty impressed.

Mb-01 is fixed stock, Mb-08 have folding stock with fluted outer barrel, heavier. Internal parts are same

Can anyone tell me if all these clones have an alloy chassis with a plastic skin? It seems everyone says the barrel is metal but always refers to the stock as plastic.

Also, doesn't the spring version and the gas version of the well L96 have different stock dimensions.

I used to own both a UTG spring L96 and a G&G G96 (gas)

Both guns have a metal barrel and a plastic body. The guns have different dimensions because of the magazine location.
If I remember correctly, you're looking for a stock to go on a 10/22 or something, this case the gas rifle would be your best bet, no guarantees.

That's correct, it's for my Marlin 22.

So you don't think the spring has the aluminum chassis?

The newer Well spring looks like the magazine well is in the same place as the gas ones.

No clue about Well…

Spring rifle definitely had an all plastic body, I completely destroyed one before, it's all plastic.
The gas rifle has a much heavier stock leading me to think its got some metal in it.
