Your pretty new to the sport, so the more you learn, the more you play, the more you will tend to purchase what you want when you can afford it. Personally I like to go battery free, and for the most part, spring free. Gas has it's disadvantages, but soon you will realize that everything airsoft is over priced and mostly junk... Fact!
So for me, I can afford a blow back pistol, and I really like the realism, which for me, is a very important part of my play... realism, albeit simulated at best.
Watch some Scoutthedoggie... they have all manor of pistols, and sniper rifles, and aeg's... you will soon find what is your favorite.
In short, blowback pistols have no serious advantge over other pistols, except for options and models... there are far too many choices of kick butt blowback pistols on the market to not want one. oh yes :yup:
