Will the IR-Hop Z kit fit my BAR10?

I've got a stock (DIY modded) BAR10 with no upgrade parts. Will the IR Hop Z kit (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=10710) fit the barrel window of my BAR10? The kit comes with 3 different patches, and I'm just wondering it one was designed for BAR10/VSR10 barrels. Also, can anyone tell me if IR hops have good airseals? Would I be better off with a KA or Nineball standard bucking? What about the REAPS bucking? Also, will the IR hop work with the TDC mod? Thanks!

Not entirely sure if one of the patches will fit as a drop in from the Z-kit. But if it doesn't you can sand it and cut it down to fit properly. As for airseal, the nice thing about using an R-hop/IR-hop is that you can have the advantages of a hard bucking (able to use heavier bb's because of higher fps) with the advantage of a soft bucking (better airseal). This is achieved because the patch itself acts as the hard bucking while the bucking that goes over the patch can be soft therefore giving you the airseal.
That's great :) Since your not sure that the Z -kit will fit, wouldn't it just be better to get a regular R-hop kit?
get the Z-kit. it isnt "drop in" in that it needs a little tweaking, but it can be under a 10 minutes install if you roughly know what you are doing. if you dont, under 30 minutes
The only real benefit of getting the Z-Kit over just a normal R-type kit is that it comes with 3 different sizes. That way sizing/sanding times are a lot lower.
I am planning on getting 1 z kit and 2 normal (lots of aeg's to do). So I can use the z kit as a 'template' if that makes sense?

Really must order that keep forgetting. :)
I suppose you could, I think that's actually a good idea. I'm currently satisfied with my TDC adjuster right now, not sure if I want the rhop anymore.
Here's an issue I have with my Z-kit. You get three patches ones large another is medium and the last is small. Let's say your gun needs a large patch. So you cut the patch, but you unfortunately mess it up. Now you have two other patches that are to short for your hopup window.

Luckily for me I kinda messed up my medium patch, so just used my large one and sanded it down and cut it properly. Now it works fine. But the next time I buy more R-hop patches I'm going to get the regular kit. That way I have three oversized patches and can actually use all three.
It's not that hard to fit the patches to the barrel, and it really is something you should learn how to do anyway. I would just buy a lot of the patches and use those, honestly.
I'm a total noob to rhops, but can you use the TDC adjuster to adjust your rhop? Or is the rhop completely unadjustable?
The rhop is adjustable, but I believe you'll need a flat hop arm; and it will work with the tdc mod since the tdc is just a more stable way of putting pressure on the arm, which then puts pressure on the hop bucking/rhop. I myself will be doing an r hop install soon in my vsr

so you don't need any nub, just the type B arm should be enough ?
Or would that create to much hop ?

You would still need a bucking. Please consider creating an introduction post for our knowledge on you and your experience. A simple question there won't hurt. Thank you
