You can typically find things like this at surplus stores. The better ones are the swiss or german snow jump suits. its just white tyvek with a zipper in the front and a hood, they also typically have OD green leaf marks on them to look like foliage.

Snow flektarn camo works incredibly well in UK forests, not sure how well it would work in your environment but in a picture on Arnies a few months back there were two people wearing it and they were very difficult to spot.

I'm sure it would make an amazing base for a winter ghillie, I would make one but winter skirmished with snow involved are far and few in England :(

It may, depening on how much snow you have. (I live in northern part of the US, and we get a ton.)

I second the winter poncho. They are crazy cheap. and can be had almost anywhere. Or you could buy a cheap white sheet. cut out a head hole and cut to length. Then you have a white poncho. A little spray paint might help too.
