Thanks everybody. I'm more into sniper rifles and sniper role. I only have 2 assault AEG rifles!
The intervention is the Ares version and it's 6mm, it almost brand new it's never been skirmished and I've but through it about 5 gas mags worth, I haven used at all the spring bolt! And was asking for it $850 but now I 'll see.
By far the best is the Asahi WA2000, first because I love the WA2K shape since the first and only time I came across with the real in early 90's in Germany. It produces 580fps on green gas using the internal tank and it's incredibly consistent, the range stock is about 65m and that's because since it's so old doesn't have hop up installed!!
The gun it's about to have a hop up installed by SnipeX sooo DRK (who has the same hop up installed) says it can reach very easy the 110yrd. The built quality surpasses many RS guns!! Especially the wooden furniture is amazing!!
Now the RS SVD is superb even outside of the box the only thing I've changed is the hop up bucking. Very well built very nice furiture , though very shiny for my tastes and doesn't match very nice with the matte painted metal parts (I have the 2 version). Very good accuracy and range.
I haven't measured it yet with a chrono but it says it's about 420fps but the range is better than an equal fps AEG!!
I'll post some more maybe later today.

I've skirmished twice with it in a fairly small woodland field with incredible results.
Now I mostly use at indoors target shooting competitions but from now on I don't think I'll use it again. It's for collecting purposes!

As for my job... I will tell some other time ;-)

Here's some photos for comparison between the Asahi and Ares WA2K

The Ares is the top one.
I don't know if you can see but the Asahi has FAR better quality on everything ( Metal parts, wooden furniture, assembly and paint!)
You can't see it from the photo's but especially the wood has absolutely amazing details.
The problem with the Asahi is you can't use very much cause there's always the fear of breaking it!!

If you want to ask anything on these rifles feel free to ask.

The SG Barrett M82 is the second rifle I'll never sell!! It heavy steel construction with great finish and the right trades.... Now on the inside sucks!! Mine came with broken tappet plate! and when I fixed it had only 350fps !! Pretty bad for a sniper rifle and lame for such big gun. The accuracy with the stock 650mm 6.03 Madbull was decent but the range was about 50m at best!!
Now it's pretty much an empty shell waiting for the polarStar fusion engine to be released!!

Wolf
Man you know how bad are the 8mm rifles...!
If you want purely for display then it's fine take the SG M200 but if you want to play... Then Ares.
The time I bought mine it was the only one around and I have it for a year and a half!

Wolf
It's nothing fancy actually... Short stroke bolt and the sound is something like a Tanaka completely silent!

Wolf
Actually I haven't used the spring bolt! I haven't fire a single bb so I don't know the sound!
Woogie even for a 6mm it's pretty intimidating and painful!
580fps it's alot.
The only problem on this gun was the o rings of the mag ... 2 of them where ripped off right out of the box! It's pretty easy fix though but disappointing when you're ready to test and you hear the gas leaking!

Wolf
No but I'm looking for the CO2 mag a friend of mine has the AW338 with the CO2 mag and it has 640fps at 25 degrees celsius!
Wow I didn't know these where back in stock!!! Thanks I think I'll order one !!

Wolf
This is the latest addition to my sniper collection

This a Tanaka M700 Police with camouflage polymer stock.

I don't like the police barrel so I'm going to change it with a G&G heavy barrel, I'm also planning to convert it in M40A3 but I'm going to do some research to see if I can pull this off.

But now I'm thinking to sell the intervention, I'm going to move to a new house and this is the only rifle I haven't skirmish even though I have for a year and half!!

I'm waiting for 1 more rifle and I'm bargaining 1 more and then I'll stop collecting! I think I have enough but I'll probably will replace the Intervention(if I sell it) with something smaller.

Wolf
I think I've seen someone who does this kind of things at airsoftgi forum or maybe evike, I've sure seen it somewhere I'll see if I can find it again.

Wolf
These are many people dream guns :)

Wolf
I have for sale the Intervention if someone is interested, never skirmished I've used only the gas bolt 25-30mag fired.

Wolf
I don't think a VSR stock can fit to a Tanaka, the VSR has the mag at a much forward position than the Tanaka.
Offer me some $800 and we can have a deal!!

Wolf
The fortress stock is a piece of overpriced [email protected]!
Everyone who own one complains that came cracked. I'll be interested only if I could find one used.
