yeah, the theory is that the endcap won't loosen when screwing on muzzle attachments. I learned that when I bought the muzzle attachment for a bar 10 gspec, and the threads were not biting at all, the nov. barrel also has a slightly larger ID than the gspec stock outer , but it was minimal enough that it would bite a little if they were the same direction threads.

Well that's annoying. So you can't use a novritsch thread adapter on my receiver. Mine are M28x1mm CW threads.

Also think that Maple Leaf may have had those threads, can't remember.

Yea a Novritsch ssg10 adapter threads into an outer barrel in reverse. Threads are negative. I thought it would be a good source for an adapter and I like that style so I ordered one. Now I I just put them in AA twist barrels because those end caps are negative as well. This one below.
