Just out of interest for anybody in the UK (or out), does anybody have any experience with the heavyweight in-house bb's Zero-One make and whether they need washing?

Well i've snooped around a bit and have gathered that Zero One bb's ARE the cheapest bb you can buy in the UK being around £6.00 for 5000 0.20g bb's. Another fact I found is hat they are also meant to be very good bb's. Whether they would be better washed or your friend just got a bad batch? The bb sizes are 5.95mm so if your friend had a 6.01 TBB then jamming would be realistic in an AEG.

There was also white stuff building up in the barrel and hop.

Not something I would want in a sniper rifle.

Yes they are the cheapest. Do you want to buy the CHEAPEST though? For sniper rifles you want quality and consistency.

I personally had no real problems with them. But I wouldn't risk it...

Fair points there Lightbulb, it seems to me like the general opinion is them seems to be like marmite; people either love them or they hate them compared to their first experiences with them..
