Well, judging by the problems he's got. There might have to be a flaw in one of the pieces. If you absolutely positively can't get it to fit, I'd send it back to where you bought it and ask for an exchange.

True there could be a lemon in the bunch, try and test each part individually to see if it fits correctly.

No, I know I've got the right one. I'm not sure there's anything wrong, just that the cup is a bit too puffed at the top edging, not allowing me to push it farther down. I bet you it's possible to get it down there but I think it would take someone PRETTY strong to get it down there AND still have enough room to get the cylinder head on there.
The piston is fine, it's not too long.
I'm going to my local airsoft store so they can get a look at it to see what MY problem is.
But, do I really need that cup. I know it deafens some of the vibrations that the spring gives off to increase accuracy, but couldn't I just get some barrel spacers?
If I'm wrong about the cup, tell me.

Hahahaha, I want to put as much as I can into this gun so I don't look like an idoit on the field. I still love the gun, I'm just a bit frustrated with the whole deal with the spring. Once I get that covered, everything else will be a breeze.

With that type of piston, you need the cup on there, otherwise you're gonna cause damage to both your piston and cylinder head.

I would recommend cutting down the spring some. Think about it, if you're having this much trouble just fitting the spring and piston inside the cylinder, how do you think you're going to be able to cock the gun?

I know I can cock the gun. I've cocked my friends rifle with a 500fps spring in their before. It's tougher than the stock but it's not hard.
Then again, I'm going to Airsoft Atlanta to see what I'm doing wrong.

Please update/edit your posts to ensure that you aren't double or triple posting. I'll give you a chance to fix it.

Glad to hear you got your spring pushed in, now just get the upgrades you listed and you should have a pretty good rifle.

(Sorry to say this as well, but this is now your 1st warning)

If you truely feel the need to have your new advice said, PM myself or any other mod, and we'll bump the topic back up top.
