I've been wondering this for a while now. I've just started a P* DMR build, and can't decide which barrel to get. Right now I'm leaning more towards the TBBs for some extra FPS at lower PSI. I've heard great things about both the PDI 6.05 and the Prometheus 6.03.

Let me know what you think the best of the best is.

EdGI has been brought up multiple times, so that's now an option.

EdGI stainless steel > PDI lapped stainless steel > EdGI brass > PDI > Prometheus

ORGA isn't even on the list because it is a wide bore, not a tight or stock bore. Also, the EdGI brass can outperform the ORGA, so if you had to insert ORGA into the list, it would be somewhere around Prometheus.

can anyone prove which one is the best? If you don't have a barrel to compare your pdi edgi or orga, get someone with the same(or close to the same, within 50mm) length barrel to come to your field or your house to do the study. Use the same bbs, same fps, same hopup method, same bb weight, manufacturing date and color. Then we'll get somewhere, but for now this is just assertions.

Define "long range", 80 meters? 90 meters? 100 meters? 110 meters?
The "longer" you go the more the need for super heavyweight bbs, usually (exclusively?) ceramic, in which case while you could use some of those the best options are EdGI barrel and i say best having tried both the brass and the stainless steel, ceramic bbs will damage your brass barrels specially if its not spotless clean, stainless steel will be much more durable and coming from EdGI those are the best of the best.
