Yeah, please BumS post some pics of the chamber area and I you could compare it with to a vsr chamber.

Sorry... I got distracted by life...

The hopup is a very small clone of the PDI chamber(For VSR), with two arms and all.
I don't think other chambers will fit.
And it uses AEG barrels.

I'll try making a 3D printed hopup to replace it(If I can get off my lazy a**).

Thank you BuMS :).

248mm inside? like marked on that photo? If so, it will be the longest cylinder ever I think :D L96 one have ~232mm. Can you put photo with measurment here? Do You maybe have caliper to measure it bit more precision?

VietcongTroll, we will be able to make them :). We will be also able to put upgrade parts (cylinder head and brass pin) for VSR to upgrade to that CM700 standard :).
I got the pictures, just got to edit them.

Here's some more.

The left side of the receiver is held on by a screw. And a grub screw for the right side.

Now the trigger:

And on the inside:

All the parts laid out:

And the sears can levitate:

These guys won't ever see my gun again:

Here's the magwell(And it's two screws), the small grub screw secured the outer barrel:

The grub screw that secures the hopup unit:

And a empty barrel:

Here's the whole barrel assembly:

The top of the hopup unit:

Two grub screws for the arms, a o-ring for tension and a wide round nub:
Image

The two grub screws secures the barrel to the hopup unit, and the plastic piece aligns the barrel(In a quite clever way):

Side by side some VSR barrels:

And that's my SDiK inside the barrel.
My SDiK is not long enough, as moving part moves too far forward:

Scaling things up:

If installing the SDiK, the spring guide stopper pipe, has to be reinstalled:
Image

Don't like how mancraft made this part, the tube kinks when inside the cylinder(Some sort of L shaped insert, would have been nice):
Image

With the stopper pipe back in place:
Image

Fits over the trigger too:
Image

The line can be routed out through the latch(Now less useless), but it does get pinched slightly:

That's a airsoftpro cylinder(VSR) fitted with a small buffer. The buffer makes it protrude a bit(Into the hole where the spring guide stopper fits)
But the buffer is only about 1mm thick, and the protrusion is more then that:

The piston and cylinder head:

The only parts I don't like, is the hopup unit, barrel choice and the nozzle diameter.

The nozzle diameter is a problem, as it makes poor contact to the bucking, risking leaks.

If I/we make a replacement hopup unit, these problems should be easy to fix.

It's late here(2 AM), so good night.

internals of this CYMA version so good ( except chamber ). Think about got one in future lol xD

I ordered this 2 days ago planning to install my mancraft kit. The cylinder length is too long. Its like the agm L96 in which, when i isntalled the mancraft kit, it was leaking air because the brass hole was not far enough inside. ANy way to fix that? My thoughts is that we need a longer mancraft middle cylinder.

I just have one question BumS, I'm a little confused about the trigger system and cylinder. If I want to do a full upgrade to this rifle (not with a SDiK, keeping it spring operated) what systems do I need to look for when upgrading if it's not vsr-10 compatible. (I.e- sear set, cylinder, piston, etc) thanks and sorry if you already answered this. Just need some clarification.

Well, right now there's not much you can upgrade.

Things that can be upgraded(Parts that are available):
Piston
Spring guide
Inner barrel
Hopup bucking/rubber

But unless you run the rifle over, there's not much that needs replacing/upgrading.

The main part on a VSR you need to upgrade, is the trigger system and piston(If you plan on running a high power spring).
And for that, you'll either need new steel sears or a 90 degree system.
The 90 degree system is the preferred choice, as it lightens the bolt pull on heavy springs.
And this rifle already got one.
The sears is also steel, just as most(all) upgraded triggers.

This rifle is about 137 Euro(~145 USD)

A BAR-10 is about 105 Euro(~111 USD).
And then you need a trigger.
Airsoftpro trigger(Bundled with piston and spring guide) 80.60 Euro(~85.37 USD).
Or a Action Army(Bundled with piston) 170 Euro(~180 USD)

BAR-10 + AA Trigger = 275 Euro(~291 USD)
BAR-10 + AP Trigger = 185.6 Euro(~196 USD)

The BAR-10 got a better hopup system, but many people upgrade it to a
Action Army hopup unit anyway.
And then there's the barrel, which is one of the first thing people replaces.

@Asianwarchief The trigger pull is very light.

Alright! Thanks a bunch for the response. I've already bought the S&T PDI Custom M40A3 version of this, and since its identical I wasn't sure what parts are compatible. I'll definitely use this information to start gathering my parts list! If you have any more knowledge on this product or the one I'm buying please let me know! I'd love to learn as much as I can to make my sniper rifle a powerful gun on the field!

Hey BumS, Is there a chance that a VSR outer barrel could thread with the reciever?
