difference between Pro and GSPEC

Hi, I currently am in the process of picking my 3rd sniper rifle. I have had an Well L96, Bar 10 GSPEC and a TM GSPEC. I sold my TM GSPEC to a friend but I must admit I loved that rifle so I am wondering what about the VSR Pro?

Is there a difference between Pro and GSPEC other then the Pro has no silencer and a longer barrel and no rail.

If I do get the pro I do plan to upgrade the rifle to about 490/500 fps. I just would like to know is there any other differences (inc internal)

Thank you

I use a Bushnell 3-4x40. It is reasonably compact.
I also wear thin gloves. Maybe that is the issue.

Sounds the same way as what I do it but I guess it may depend on the size of the scope because I often hit it with the pro bolt handle. So I changed it to the G-spec and it works a treat

That will depend on what bb weight you are using. Different bb weight produce different amounts of energy out of the rifle.

I think the pro's bolt handle is fine. Maybe a bit short, but you'll never hit your scope at all if you pull the bolt back the right way. Plus I'm a firm believer that a 430mm barrel will help you with those long range shots.

Do you lift the bolt by having your palm facing upwards? I normally have my palm facing downwards and I often hit the scope.

The Pro Bolt handle sucks.
Also the G-Spec is the better rifle in my opinion because it has the shorter barrel. This means that if you had both a Pro Version and a G-Spec Version and they were both upgraded to 500fps, the G-Spec will have more energy behind the bb as it has more joule creep.

Main differences:

Gspec has a more acute bolt handle swivel and a different bolt handle design. Pro has a much more obtuse swivel and a traditional flat sphere bolt knob. Pro bolt knob can interfere with scopes, especially on low scope mounts.

Gpsec outer barrel is shorter, has bull barrel style and has suppressor threading. Pro has a tapered barrel and no supressor threading

Gspec has a 6.05mm,303mm brass inner barrel.
Pro has a 430mm 6.08 aluminium inner barrel
