hey guys, I stumbled across this AWESOME instructable on how to mod your SVD so it'll have a shorter barrel! this is for the springer version, and I'm not sure if id would work with the AEG.
I'd always wanted to make my barrel shorter, the SVD barrel just seemed a bit too long for my tastes. so when I found this I was excited! a lot of you will probably frown upon this, as it's REALLY DiY, but if you want to shorten your barrel and make your gun lighter, this is the cheap and easy way to do it. this mod costed me exactly $0, as I had ALL the parts laying about my house.
basically you need an old shotgun barrel, a bit of PVC pipe, a washer, and a nerf dart (or a similar piece of foam) as well as your A&K springer SVD.
