Searched, and nothing to my specs came up.

Has anyone successfully used just an actual poncho in-game? (No jute, think Princess-Leia-on-Endor sort of deal)
It seems like it could be fun and effective. No jute to get caught on anything, albeit you sacrifice the jute Jute would be a problem because it would get caught and tug on the poncho, whereas on a ghille, it's sewn to your clothes so you can just pull through it.

And how could you do this do you think? I was thinking you could buy some burlap and tailor it into the shape of a poncho, and dye it all a shade of green and take some spray cans to it. As said, it could be a quick and fast piece of equipment. no need to have a dedicated suit if you don't want to spend all your small amounts of moneys on cammies that are of good build quality.

I guess the only problem would be you'd have to constantly avoid enemies since you won't blend in nearly as well as a ghillie...

I've been thinking on that. Like vasili in enemy at the gates?
I was planning to use the fabric of jack pyke's.
Is kinda real tree pattern.

Using a afghan patoo sometimes, depending on scenario and/ or the field.

Can be useful as some kind of cover as it masks the silhouette to some degree if you put it over you in some more or less urban or even some brown sand or dirt environment.
