I'm new to airsoft snipers but have done A LOT of reading and A LOT of tinkering/mods with my own rifle.

I've read a lot about various ways to create better air seals in different places in the rifle but nothing about the huge gaps between the piston O ring and the piston! Sure they seal well between the O ring and the cylinder but the air just escapes under the O ring through the piston!

I recently tried an Angel Customs VSR 10 Alpha Pro trigger, piston and cylinder head set and this had an even worse problem! Holes in the cyclinder head through to the O ring! Now they want you to believe that the holes will force air to the O ring pushing it out making a better seal, wrong!! The O ring is such a piss poor fit and the O ring groove is so deep that air just pisses out! >:

All it takes to fix this is to install a smaller diameter O ring first then a larger preferably thicker O ring on top with a bit of silicone grease and you have an air tight and a 50-100 fps increase! Forget sealing the bucking to the barrel (unless it's a really slack fit) and certainly forget sealing the cylinder head, even when hand tight only enough to touch the O ring, no air is getting out of there.

Boes, don't bother, this guy is trolling

For genuine new members who can get contused by this: piston seal can easily be tested by taking the barrel off and putting your finger over the nozzle. Pull the trigger and the piston should move a little bit and then stop. Piston/cylinder head seal is actually very easy to get to 100%, and contrary to what the troll is claiming, seal around the nozzle and bucking IS important.
