This weekend I brought a asg Aug a3 as my fast paced sniping rifle, for when im not using my tanaka. But I hate high caps anyone know where I can get some decent midcaps for not overly expensive, they can be mids or realcaps. on another note anyone reccomend a site for my Aug as Im unsure either scope eotech or a red dot.

Thanks fuzz

Oh oh! I got this. What weight of BBs are you pushing? Either way, you are looking to pay about 60-70ish USD.

I use King Arm's 110rnd Midcaps to push my 0.40's http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3206 . They sometimes jam up in the lat ten balls. I give them a wap on my helmet and that fixes it typically.

MAG brand's mags hold 170, but I have misfeeds with heavier than 0.32's. My cover-man runs them on his AR without a problem. http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4416

The two-stage trigger does throw some people up. If you get it to the sniper class and need to disable autofire, there is a metal contact in the trigger assembly that activates auto: no tab; no auto. Do not lose it.

For optics, it really depends how far you are shooting. But, I have had good luck and service with NCstar's products ( http://www.nstar-sales.com/ ). Mounting my large scope to my rail was inhibited by a metal flange under the rail. With the smaller things like red-dots, it was not a problem for me.

Well, it is, but it is just sliding the contact off the auto-fire stage.

If you are looking for mag pouches, I highly recommend these: http://www.keepshooting.com/german-g3-camo-mag-pouch.html . Any g3 pouch should also fit an AUG, but these work especially well. And, the inside is like velvet. My bed sheets are less comfortable. I have to wear an empty cell just so some of my friends can stick their hands down it when we are loitering on the field.

Another thing: do yourself a favour and right away, before you ever field the gun, loop a rubber band or hair tie over the sling mount and the butt pad, using the lower, rear grip to hook it; It may not seem like much, but it will keep the fickle butt pad from flying off, which will happen.

range on .25s is great, used the battery it came with for most the day but then put in a 7.4v lipo and broke the fuse doesn't matter i just removed it and clipped the metal connectors together

generally a great buy and am quite happy
