Hello,

I have recently purchased a used SVD-S (ARES SR-008, Spring-powered) and wanted to start playing airsoft next year.

My gun is shooting good, but i was wondering, if there are any components, which I could consider upgrading.

And I would like to know what your opinion is

I hope I will find a lot of knowledge in this forum to step up my sniping.

A tensioner nub presses down on the hop rubber to get a reliable and more effective touch on the bb as is comes through the chamber.

Hi! Just want to let you know that if the gun is the spring version (and similar to the A&K one), the hopup chamber tensioner is not a standard one, but a silicone axle. This being said, you may be required to get a new hopup chamber (if it is the same as the A&K one, airsoft pro makes a chamber that's supposed to be pretty decent, but good luck finding them in stock). Is the stock chamber a sky blue color?
