Hello i am currently having issues with my action army twisted cylinder and I'm thinking of getting a new one

what would you recommend

im looking for a cylinder that causes the least wear on the spring guide stopper and also takes regular vsr10 piston parts

The action army one i have has worn down incredibly fast there is now a noticeable curve in the slot where it has ground down over 60 shots which is pathetic

Hey mate, I have the AA Teflon Cylinder, I must've cycled a good 10k rounds through it and it's absolutely fine.
Other than me dropping it once and it landing on the Bolt Handle causing the end to be wobbly now.
Have you tried contacting the place you purchased it from and seeing if its defective and get a replacement?

The only other ones I know of are EdGi and they cost a bomb and the Cylinder usually comes as part of a set (ÂŁ350 from Longbow and includes piston, spring guide, spring, cylinder and upgraded Trigger parts)

Sorta sounds like you may be having trouble pulling the bolt properly. I know you shouldn't have to but these are toys and were not originally designed for stress some of us put them under today therefore needing to pull the bolt straight back and be careful not use the bolt handle to twist or torque.

I found the issue it is because the cylinder is so thin after 60 - 100 shots the edge becomes sharp again causing it to scratch so I've just smoothed the edge again and it works perfectly
