Whats up nerds,
NJ field recommendations?
Been to on target a few times now. I like some of the fields there, the shipping-container complex is great, some are just mediocre, lots are brush and artificial berms, personal preference I guess. Its up to 35$ per day now. But pretty laid back which is fine with me.
Went to cousins nj (softair) for the first time, their fields were similar: black pine, lots of brush, artificial mounds and plywood 1/2 buildings. The one with the plywood village was fun. Brush and forest not so much. Rules were a little more strigent: 150' MED for BASR.
Think I like the more "urban" environments. Having actually structures makes sense to me instead of random 6' stretches of isolated wooden fence. Also the brush is a total buzzkill: if your bb touches the smallest twig on its flight it's not hitting target. Frustrating and it ruins the immersion when you can see a guy 40 yards away through tall weeds but you waste 10 shots and can't even hit him. Builing to building just feels right.
Thinking about trying quickshot this weekend down by Philly. Saw in pictures they got a little suburban "neighborhood" with a dozen or so little houses (tool sheds). That might be fun. Anyone been?
