Painting ideas!!!

Although this probably won't happen for some time still (currently living in a winter wonderland), I thought I'd share an idea for painting my M24.

I've always loved the look of three color desert camo, so I've thought about painting my stock to match it.

To start here's a visual of what I'm thinking (minus a few things I'll explain later).

Pretty awesome looking, right?

My thoughts though... I'm thinking if I went this way I'd somewhat two tone it by leaving some parts black. For now I'd probably leave the receiver/barrel, the adjustable stock, and bipod black. So I'd paint the scope (minus a few parts) and most of the stock in the three color pattern.

Now, I have recently bought a little air compressor and paint gun/brush so I'll be doing this the correct way, meaning I'm not limited to spray can colors, I now have a huge variety of model paints at my disposal.

Soo, what are some thoughts on this? Seems easy enough assuming I can find the correct colors and create proper stencils. Any other tan based patterns you think I should consider? Let's hear it.

Oops, sorry I never responded earlier. I haven't been on as often and I just realized this post. My 534mm just sits behind the first set of holes on my CA muzzle break. So the 550mm barrel will stick out for sure. I'm sure I'm probably late by nowbut you can at least pick up a silencer adapter and add the appropriate length silencer. That is unless you went with the 509mm barrel, then your all good. Sorry again for missing your comment.
Actually I went with the 550mm 6.03 Prommy inner and picked up a muzzle break. Looks fantastic and works great. I clean out the barrel after each game so I have no encountered any issues.

Any results to share on the updates on the larger nub window? I may be interested in trying it if you have had success.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't responded again. I got really busy with life and stuff and haven't been on the forum probably since my last post here, lol.

@Doctor Sbaitso

I'll see if I can get a chance to try out the rifle sometime in the next few weeks, it hasn't left its rifle case in a while, so after I get things sorted out I'll be sure to let you know here.

@Sovereign08

Thanks man, I love this rifle. You definitely choose a winner. Good luck with the build.
