Somebody mentioned this hop up chamber (which I happen to have just bought it along with some MR hops) asking my feelings about it, so I will briefly talk about it in a separate thread since it'd be a crime to not talk about it.

Link above is their FB page.

So to put it shortly this is probably the best hop up chamber for the SRS at the moment:

- it uses GBB barrels. This allows them to use the VSR buckings widely employed in VSRs while providing extra points of fixation for the hop up chamber to position itself upon, as well as allowing a larger variety of barrel lengths.
- Hop up chamber is well defined, like how a 3D model is considered well defined in Solidworks. A lot more parts are tightly bolted together with screws removing any play and removed any sense of flimsiness. (For instance, it is now bolted directly to the outer barrel with an extended screw nub)
- Hop Up window is tiny, accompanied by a golden metallic nub. Unlike the FAST it has absolutely no play with no space in between the chamber and the nub.
- uses the same wheel knob design used by TNT and the FAST hop.

The fact that it is much more well defined and much easier to install is an instant win compared to other chambers, with the only problem being mandated to use GBB barrels which means another bit of $$ to spend on.

Don't have an SRS. Just curious... Is the included nub the only one that can be used with it? Could it be swapped for a panthera or skeees type nub?

What profile is the included nub? Flat? Concave?
It can only use the nub it came with as far as I know, it does not adjust hop in the same way as the FAST or the TNT - it applies directly from the wheel onto the golden metallic nub.

The nub is concave just like the Omega Nub. It's a little bit springy in design (something like folded paper) so it should function jsut fine.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about Last Hopup. One more question arises naturally.
Can you compare the precision and range when using VSR bucking with ML barrel and AEG barrel with apropriate bucking in your srs?
Thank you
Michal

I could probably try getting someone I know and test it out, but I am not completely sure.

Honestly, the stock hop up chamber is great. Once you’ve taken the time to dial it in, its set and you can just forget about it.

The only reason I can see to switch to a different hop up chamber is if you are constancy switching springs and/or bb weights.

The screw that connects it to the outer barrel in the center, what size is it?? Having trouble with it
First of all, necro post, you wouldn't want to fuck your dead childhood dog(at least I sure hope not UwU), so don't disturb a post that is resting in the ground for eternity.
Secondly, idk, maybe start a new thread or something

Bro tone it down with the analogies. People make mistakes.

Chill dude, why attacking people with that ferocity over a necro?

As for the screw I believe it's M1 (the most narrow hex key you can find on a run of the mill hex key set).
